Weird, just had to restart my ps5 to make Pentiment appear in my library after buying it. Couldn't download it through the store either even though it registered me as owning it on there.
Feel like Wolverine is gonna be the new suicide squad

By Hitch Go To PostI'd put Jin and Aloy well above Insomniac's characters, still far behind Naughty Dog though. Would have had Sony Santa Monica a bit behind Naughty Dog but reasonably close, but I wasn't very interested in any of the characters they introduced in Ragnarok, and I didn't like what they did with any of the existing characters as much as I did in the first game.santa monica lost any credit for characters after *looks up name* shipping a game with freyr
Insomniac's Wolverine game is going to be fucking shite if it's written by the same wet blankets who did SM2.
By Laboured Go To PostEveryone is waiting for that Ragnarok remaster.

Oh mama
I've been convinced. No need for demos. Just give me the full game.
By Laboured Go To PostIdk how else to put this but every race in DA: Veilguard looks dwarf adjacent. It's mainly the proportions. They are just off... Not everything about it mind, or the quality of the assets, but the way they are stylized/npc armor designs give me that vibe. More vibrant and inviting, big-head mode almost makes them feel... whimsical? or less aggressive, idk. On top of the big ass, bad UI elements...
It's just so inconsistent, because some of the companion designs look decent outside of gameplay or in a different context. If this launched on the back of the reveal trailer and this one, it would flop so bad. At least they've had time to do more of a deep dive on other elements, thank god, because the trailers leave such a bad impression. They just don't know how to show off this game I guess.
By data Go To Postwhat do you think the devs look like
they should have learnt from the other new ea game

This is the story of Blizzard vs. Activision, a saga as epic and dramatic as anything depicted in Warcraft. This is how and why Bobby Kotick began taking a larger role in Blizzard's operations.
i find this style of writing terrible.

Why haven't we started changing players every time they boot up the game? It's free money. I have saved the company.
By C4-621 Go To PostDamn Kibner Steel Haze is detailed AF and already sold out lmfaoYup! Sorry if I did t link it or did t link it early enough.
By Laboured Go To PostIt's always McKinsey, baby. All the time, every fucking time.I almost got a job with them lol
By jjasper Go To PostSo a Zelda game with a mid reviews probably scales to actually being a bad game right?
It's gotta be better than doing a bajillion shrine puzzles.
By Xpike Go To Posti like how high 80s is mid reviewshigh 80s is like "must play if at all a fan of the genre" to me. lol
Another February game now.
Edit: Outlaws also getting fast tracked to Steam. I guess it really didn't sell well.

Steam won't save it either.
Nor will it keep the likes of Square Enix afloat, if they continue releasing PC ports 2 years later and with no marketing whatsoever.

Valhalla was a disaster but it sold pretty well (thanks to Odyssey imo) so it made them bullish to criticism. Well enough their plan was to create a whole Assassin's Creed interconnected hub where all AC games would live and where they could sell MTX and season pass "live" content, but that shit never materialized.
Now they finally pull the feudal Japan lever and anticipation has been tepid at best. I used to enjoy a Ubisoft game in my day, but the shit they pull on PC and the string of lame releases from FC 6 to AC to Avatar makes it so easy to ignore them.
Zabu is right. They don't get Epic money for exclusivity anymore, but the damage is done.

I've been itching to try Baten Kaitos. The card battle system and the whole you don't actually play as the protagonist sounds cool af
Do I even have time for it though. Not Persona is close..

Their downfall probably isn't anything to do with the AC series, right?
Siege is still pretty popular, but I doubt it's a huge earner and all their other liver service stuff is pretty dead. No big mobile titles. No big casual earners anymore; they still pump out Just Dance and Rabbids but it's not making any difference.
This year they tried to launch Skill and Bones, Xdefiant, and Star Wars and they all flopped. Turning every title into the same open world content slurry did not pay off

Ubisoft is definitely in trouble because of an internal implosion, but they are also having issues all publishers are having atm, a problem of attracting a new generation of fan base that replaces a percentage of older generation that just curbs buying games.
