Rolled credits on Outlaws. I can see why fans of the franchise are reluctant to call it a disappointment. An incredible amount of work went into making it look and feel like a proper, lived in SW universe ... and also less of your typical Ubisoft map-filled-with-a-thousand-markers kind of game.
Unfortunately, in terms of the half a dozen or so core gameplay systems, nothing stands out. Everything is basic and continues to feel so throughout the adventure, no matter the number of upgrades you unlocked. The shooting, speeder bike, stealth, space combat, side content, as well as the characters, cutscenes and story ... it's like the devs stopped evolving and refining as soon as said features reached 'eh, good enough' status.
Consequently the game never really quite manages to come together in a satisfying way.
