I don't know what's the standard for FF protagonist as I've only played three, but between Cloud, Clive and whatever his name was in 15, I'd pick Clive easily lol

the quality for the protagonists is low. quite low. mostly just empty shells. i did say all characters though, like kimahri who is a borderline mute with no personality.
anyway the ff15 lads are... pretty much the same quality i guess. absolute shit. a game i try to happily forget ever spending money on.
it's the one thing ff16 got going for it. it's better than 15.

At least you have a good boy along for the ride.
