By Lego Go To PostWho is funding themIt's a small team, less than 50 members for the whole studio and the game keeps on selling.
they made enough buku bucks from their 2016 release and with such a small overhead they had enough resources to keep going for the next decade.

Every one of those videos has this weird effect (caused by lighting?) that makes the backgrounds look like cardboard cut outs.

Compare 3:43 of the video to this PS4 screen and you'll see it's not really different bar some contrast settings. He's also running upscaled textures.

When was the last Star Fox game? GameCube?
We told you guys not to touch anything
60 fps is enough
Everything was in perfect harmony. All-encompassing design sensibility capable of tying everything that matters - aesthetics, narrative, sound and mechanical design - together in a manner where each feeds into and enhances the others. The structure underlying BB is not just original but coherent, and because of this the impact of everything it does is commensurately greater. This is total design
But no, WE can make it better.

The chromatic aberration is so intense in the PS4 shot. I still remember when they put out a few screenshots in the week or two before release showing off just how bad that shit looked.
I can't respect people whose eyes appreciate CA.

By C4-621 Go To PostWe told you guys not to touch anythingThis is more or less how I feel about a lot of these projects. Fix the actual issues (like framerate, crashes, major glitches, severe balance oversights) and add some options to enable/disable/adjust certain effects and features (like resolution, aspect ratio, chromatic aberration, anistropic filtering, anti-aliasing, motion blur, vignettes, etc).

It’s all optional, step-bro :3
I just want a higher resolution. Give me some crisp 4K Yharnam, 30 or 60FPS. I don’t give a fuck which.
By C4-621 Go To PostKibner and sy understandIt's not the same thing (a port+remaster vs emulation), but this discussion reminds me of what Vicarious Visions did for Diablo 2: Resurrected and the GBA Tony Hawk ports. Fuck, that is such a good porting studio, going back decades.

Obviously hard to tell what gave me an headache, but I consistently got one playing it, and imo it is because of the terrible CA
