I'm assuming the differences are because they use a custom protocol when connected to the PS5 but the normal bluetooth protocol when connected to literally everything else.

Well, the more I look at that korean sims inZOI I talked about before, with the creepy character creator, the more I realize it's basically all AI backends and AI tools. I'm pretty sure now that all the face defaults and sliders are AI generated.
It also has AI tools to scan faces, objects to turn into characters, 3D props and textures (exactly like smasung et. al. phone AI tools) and even voice generation using DL. It's AI Madness! 🤢

Watching some Star Wars. It's been a while since I've seen one division of a dev team so clearly drop the ball the way the guys doing Kay's face animation have. It looks worse than the side-characters.
Detail in this opening area is pretty good, yet to see if the open world is just set dressing though. 95% of the NPCs are just standing around, assume that changes when the game opens up.

I doubt anyone cares but the new WoW expansion seems pretty great so far. Some of the zones look really awesome. Music is great.

Setting up this firework battle in BG3 is a massive pain in the arse on console. Got half way through the fight and the PS5 crashed as well. Quest feels pretty half-baked with the lack of dialogue options and ways to approach it's end.

i liked abby, ben was like nails on a chalkboard but the real eveil was always Alex. it was irrational but i hated the way he looked and talked lol.
The days of Alex being mostly on screened were good days.

I really couldn't stand Alex in the GB days, but i'll always thank him for bringing a Twin Peaks watchcast with Brad and Vinny into the world.
I don't even think it's that, he was planning on leaving himself anyway. I think he's just become a bit of a...recluse since having kids and covid where they were no longer in an office. By his own admission he says he's been terrible at keeping in touch with people.
He seems very happy in life now with his family, but it's quite sad seeing him make content on his own. He was always amazing at bouncing off other people.
