That emulator performance is hugely deceptive, I guarantee it struggles to meet 30 at first once they’ve actually implemented all of the graphics calls.
PS5 has basically been a PS4 Pro+ for me.
I finished Days Gone this week, and a bunch of the free dlc challenge mode stuff Bend released, which was probably more fun than the actual game.
An open world Uncharted 1 on a bike with World War Z zombies - that is 20-30 hours too long - running on Unreal Engine 4 is how I would sum up the game. It tries to combine a few too many genres without ever committing to any of them. A flat 6 out of 10 overall package.
Going to hopefully move on to Pentiment this weekend.

Mission ranking in MGSV is pretty nonsensical. Went through mission 18 earlier with Quiet.
Q off the leash with a silenced rifle. Got through until the end until I came unstuck and how to kill oh, I don’t know. 5 guards, maybe 6. Had one alert. Couple restarts.

Anyone tried the F2P Yugioh game?
Also, @yurt you were right, the third map is definitely the best in Ronin, just the right size and dense with towns. Damn this game is long as fuck tho.

Never looked like anything special to me. No clue what people saw in it other than a company name that ain't meant shit in decades
I'm not really in it for the combat, but nevertheless I will keep an open mind when I play it next year.
I had, in fact, lined up a replay of both Pillars games which I pushed back a little after the delay. Maybe not a full replay, we'll see how it goes with Turn Based mode this time.
Pillars games are great. Especially 2.

Pillars, Tyranny, Pentiment.
Some of the best stuff they've done. Sad you couldn't get into them I guess.

Which one?
By HottestGrapes Go To PostWas Anthem actually a bad game?I don't think so. It was a GaaS trainwreck though.
But it had many of the same problems as Avengers
By DY_nasty Go To PostI don't think so. It was a GaaS trainwreck though.Did it have a single player mode?

I just assumed it was multiplayer only and skipped it at the time.
By EldritchTrapStar Go To PostWhich one?didnt know there was more than one. Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel
By HottestGrapes Go To PostDid it have a single player mode? You can play it solo, but not really a single player mode. At some point you'll be forced to at least sit in the matchmaking screen for a mission and do pugs.

The game needed a lot more time to cook. Good looking models, incredible yet hampered-down flying/traversal and mediocre to fun shooty gameplay is hidden behind layers of the worst UI you've ever seen, the most barebones and most boring HUB you've ever walked around, nothing, ugly af looking NPCs, and the least imaginative, repetitive quest chains and faction objectives you'll ever encounter.

Welp, I’ll not be adding that to my long list of games I’ve started and not finished recently.

Yea, I think there are two. I might be wrong tho.
To answer your question, I play it. What do you want to know?

By inky Go To PostSteam says I have 666 games. What was the 666th?
I won't be taking any questions.
The walk speed in the hub and constant loading screens killed Anthem for me after about five minutes, before even thinking about the structural and gameplay issues
By s y brev Go To Postis it fun? easy to learn?
I enjoy it. It's F2P friendly, to a point, and does a decent enough of a job of giving you enough gems to pull for cards to make different decks. A couple of the starter decks are good enough to give you some of the staples that you need to actually start playing (other decks), and earning more gems. Solo mode isn't great, but introduces the basics of the different deck types, but more importantly, gets you currency.
Corporate greed only shows up, if a deck is popular in the TCG / OCG, and they decide to make it expensive af in Master Duel, to get people to pay for gems. Truly, currency isn't an issue unless you try and build every single deck, while being f2p. That's just not a realistic thought.
There is a crafting system too, and a battlepass that pays for itself, since you use the games own currency to buy it.
In terms of being easy to learn or not...it varies. Some cards have a lot of text and alternate effects that come with, and it can be difficult to learn where to counter certain strategies, because of the power of the archetype, the type of format that Master Duel is (win once and move on), or where to chain different cards. It can be overwhelming, due to the timer, and the fact that rng is a factor. The on-boarding isn't great. Casual mode is technically for learning, but eh. Most just hop in ranked.
I'd give it a shot and to see if you like it. If you do, and want to start looking to see what everyone else is playing:
https://www.masterduelmeta.com/top-decks
That website will tell you what everyone is playing in the TCG, OCG, and Master Duel. Master Duel also has it's own internal system that lets you see what others are running.

It was solid.
It lacked depth and decent grind.
It had 9 months to cook.
Gaas is hard. Good gaas is near impossible.

I’m at 300~ and I thought I had a lot
They just threw everything in the pot for this game. WWE moves, Spider-Man swinging, SotC/DD climbing etc
By s y brev Go To PostJust watched the gameplay trailer and there’s a bullethell boss too.

it’s giving me late gen PS3 game vibes, and not in a bad way.

I feel like they should've cut the first map ngl lol
there's a good game somewhere in king arthur knights tale but holy fuck i'll never get to it because its so slow no matter what you do
By Laboured Go To PostThe demo was really good.
Honestly it's probably just XGS letting their studios just having 30fps out on release than anything. This will be the 4th Xbox game that is 30fps on console.
2 of them got patched for a 60fps mode, and I would guess Hellblade 2's patch will come soon.
Unless they are really serious with that "cinematic FPS" quote.
