Even with the composer change, agreed. It's comfy to play for me. No need to spend either when you earn all your pulls just playing.
Bandai Namco Holdings suggest, the long-awaited expansion by FromSoftware contributed to record-breaking quarterly sales (the highest the company has seen in its history) and the company is even revising its forecasts to account for more revenue than originally expected.

Looks a bit low budget Persona for me
I’m sick of pretending MGSV TPP was a bad game. I like it. I’m yet to complete it but it will happen one day.
I need to get back to finishing Sand Land. Got stuck at a boss I was too underleveled for and been going on side quests to unlock stuff to make it easier.
I’m between too many games at the moment. I did finish Thank Goodness You’re Here at least.
Still in the middle of playing through Elden Ring to get to the DLC. Finished the 4th level on Sifu last night. Started The Witcher 3 again last week. Tried Risk of Rain 2 recently, and Cuphead. Still have Dragon’s Dogma 2 to finish. Picked MGSV back up after putting it down 2 years ago.
Despite all that, I started Death Stranding last night.
I’m blaming upgrading my internet and TV for this predicament I’m in. I’m just downloading games and playing them to see how good they look on the C4 77. It’s all so fucking lovely to look at honestly.

Add AC6 to the list too. Up to chapter 4 I think. Last mission was the ice worm.
Thankfully I have two weeks off work currently to play stuff.

By inky Go To PostFocus, VapesSifu will probably be the first I complete since I can’t imagine it’s too long of a game. It’s definitely great action game though. Between the Oldboy hallway scene and the fight on a moving elevator. Classic shit.
One game at a time.
if this is in the industry in pain then good i love it

Let the cream rise to the top.
I'm still playing games released over the last few years for the first time.
There's always something. It's great.
There's always something. It's great.
Most of those games are small games from independent studios. Low barrier of entry allows plenty of those small players to reach an audience they couldn't otherwise.
Supply might be high, but it's not evenly spread. Games like Palworld sell 20 million+ precisely because the games out there can't meet the overwhelming demand. Despite Pokemon being one of the biggest games ever and having sometimes multiple annual releases, people want more, and different things from the genre, and there's more than enough room for it.
I don't think the issue is how many games are being made (not everything has to or deserves to be a success) but maybe the perception that certain genres are being saturated for audiences that can't make every one of them a hit. Or in the case of AAA and gaas, a mega-hit, which is the cause of a large amount of redundancies we are seeing.

Between the Oldboy hallway scene and the fight on a moving elevator. Classic shit.I had to take a bit of a break after 100% Elden Ring. That's where chill games like Botany Manor (a 3-4 hour game that I played in 30 minute spells at a time) are godsend. Also been getting some high scores in Pinball FX 3 tables.
Those kinds of games are usually my palette cleanser. Started the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy on gamepass, but this game ain't chill at all jfc. Made it into Kirkwall on Dragon Age 2, but this game still makes me question my life decisions, especially if I'm gonna do another Inquisition after it...
By inky Go To PostStarted the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy on gamepass, but this game ain't chill at all jfc.I'm guessing you never played the original games.
Finally finished Mad Max. Great game but has a bit of a weak final battle. Shame we never got the planned DLC.
Also started playing Halo Reach and finished it in 2 days, quite a short game but I enjoyed it.

Chivalry 2 is such a perfect mindless game. You can always work on individual skill and try to win or you can just be part of the horde and throw wagon wheels at people or set a chicken on fire and use it as a weapon.
By Dazenheimer Go To PostSupply has outstripped demand and we are seeing a lot of redundancies. You say that yet I do not see Tony hawk 3+4. Curious

Luckily Alan Wake 2 got distroed fairly early. No need to buy that and support epic or the soon to Russian state of Finland.

And Rocket League.
Fuck Epic.
Rocket League is still basically the same game since launch, isn't it? A bit of improvements here and there, but the core game is exactly the same.
Really wish I could fucking stop looking up the consequences of the choices I make in BG3 before I make them. Basically ruined the entire create-your-own-adventure aspect of the game.
Mizora hanging around right next to Wyll is very enjoyable.

finally got to the end of the main menu campaign in gt7. doing the gt cup with a f12 was very frustrating, at least it made me engage with the detailed car settings to reduce the insane oversteering

The game gets no support and the f2p completely ruined competitive due to smurfing which was already bad enough when it wasn't f2p.
And it doesn't impact the gameplay, no, but the cosmetics were a big part of the attraction of RL and that got worse after Epic took over.
I can't think of anything genuinely positive for the game since Epic bought Psyonix. They bought it, it stagnated and the main reason I played it, Competitive, got way worse. So yes, Epic's impact on RL has been a large net-negative imo.

Bet they roll it into Fortnite eventually. They have been making Fall Guys versions of every Fortnite cosmetic.

they already have some actual fall guys levels in it...
It's been dead for years.
They added a garbage course creator tool, removed like 80% of the Mediatonic created courses and replaced them instead with untested, user created content rounds. They also changed the movement physics and jump height, which pretty much invalidates the obstacles for the other 20% remaining. They made events way shorter and CCU is barely 20% of what Stumble Guys (the low quality budget knockoff) continues to get on the regular.
That's on top of the typical epic battle pass bullshit. Also, 90% of Mediatonic is now on fortnite content, with only a skeleton crew maintaining the game not with new themed seasons, just $20USD licensed cosmetics.

I think Epic basically want Fortnite to be Roblox at this point. They’ve got the community content set up, implemented fall guys, guitar hero, rocket league racing, and basically minecraft to the base game. They want a large userbase of children to churn out community content to keep all that extra content afloat while they continue building on the battle royal mode/cosmetic delivery system.
