By Zabojnik Go To PostOne of these decades I'll finally play a MH game. Likely when I get word it's been designed entirely around coop. Its kinda like Helldivers 2. Sure you can play it solo, but why lol
It's much more fun with a party playing different roles
By Laboured Go To PostOh yeah that's smooth afCANT WAIT
By C4-621 Go To PostIts kinda like Helldivers 2. Sure you can play it solo, but why lolNahhhh, MH is way more viable and fun solo than Helldivers 2.

MH world was better solo imo

Bioware and ea doing an exclusive deal with fucking game informer in 2024 shows just how in touch with modern times dragon age will be
People are really over exaggerating the exclusive coverage rights, a lot of big games have it for game informer, it only last for a while anyway.
It sucks for EA’s marketing dept, but it’s not a big miss for a game like that Twitter makes it to be.

Game Informer is where you go when you want the people that walk into a gamestop to see your game's name while they are purchasing call of duty or madden or whatever it is you buy at a gamestop these days. Fortunately or unfortunately, game will not live and die on GI coverage.
It tracks for Bioware and them pretending this game isn't a direct sequel to Inquisition a decade later, in order to attract a new, mainstream audience. But they can just as easily go to IGN or whatever (considering there isn't even a release date out there), like they did with Mass Effect 3, which they also positioned as the right time to jump into the series by broadening its appeal design and marketing-wise.

Don't imagine there's anything in the Game Informer coverage that won't be very easily moved to other outlets besides the interviews. And let's be honest, who gives a shit about those? Regardless the same soundbites will just pop up in different interviews elsewhere.
By Laboured Go To PostCopying and pasting what EA tells you to do is hard work.
By C4-621 Go To PostSieur Dy, what's your take on the SaGa franchise ?Bad games good music
By DY_nasty Go To PostBad games good musicThey are so very weird compared to every other jrpg. But the stories or content it acting like that, but the mechanics and how the game flows. So very weird.
By Laboured Go To PostGosh, I wonder why that is? Very bewildering.
They should learn from Sega, who took a mid franchise and turned it into a big international success when they made it turn based.
That's my analysis anyway.
By Laboured Go To PostGosh, I wonder why that is? Very bewildering.Their shit should have been day & date on PC, fucking years ago. Bums are still living in their weird and dubious bubble. Meanwhile, other Japanese devs and publishers are reaping the rewards.
By Fenderputty Go To PostNot a great game and good music. lolman said just buy the OST ðŸ˜
Never touching a SaGa game again
Ff7R2... I've zero interest in starting it up again tbh. I'll get around to it eventually but I can definitely relate to everyone completely uninterested in it

It wasn't bad, it felt more like a missed opportunity. So much potential kinda blown IMO.
If you do play may I suggest you not get sidetracked on all the chadley fetch quest crap and don't spend too much time in all the challenges. I'm like 100% positive that if I had done this I would have felt way more positive.

If I was the kind of player who can just ignore the busywork that's available I'd have given it a solid 9 even with the truly fucking woeful ending sequence, as it is it's barely scraping 7 when I'm in a generous mood.

Same. Outside of the story line shenanigans, I felt like the dialog was better than the first too. The world was big and beautiful. The combat was good and so were the actual side quests marked in green. Why the fuck did they have to make picking a fucking mushroom a minigame though.
Just run through the game, ignore the bloat and you'll have a better experience.
I have been playing since it came out and 70 hours in and have burned through at least 2 zones without doing a damn thing. I can’t imaging doing all the shit
Bought a 1TB SD card so I can have every GameCube game that exists on one thing the size of a fingernail.
This is gaming.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostI'm been getting to emulation recently. As someone who never had a GameCube, what are the must have games to play?I'm the kind of madman who thinks Super Mario Sunshine is an amazing game so. Great summer vibes. Resident Evil 4 obviously but that's been ported around 50 times since. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is a unique experience. There's great multiplayer games like Soul Calibur II, Double Dash!!, Melee and Super Mario Strikers. Actually all the Mario sports games are fun, and Mario Party obviously.
It's got a lot of good versions of multi platform games as well. Def Jam: Fight for NY is a classic. It's got the Tony Hawk games, SSX 3, TimeSplitters, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell etc.
Eternal Darkness, Viewtiful Joe, and Killer7 are all worth playing too, and a whole bunch of RPGs if that's your thing, Tales of Symphonia, Skies of Arcadia, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and more.
Oh and all the Resident Evil games a person could ever need.

And Metroid Prime 1&2, Super Monkey Ball 1&2.
I'd say Wind Waker too, but the HD version is far superior. That also applies to Prime 1 now I guess, the remake from this(?) year is so good
By Perfect Blue Go To PostI'm pretty sure the only reason they've done this is because they wanted to port it to the Switch 2 and figured why not put it out on the PS4 and Xbox One while they're at it.
That is hilarious
By Plasma Go To PostI'm pretty sure the only reason they've done this is because they wanted to port it to the Switch 2 and figured why not put it out on the PS4 and Xbox One while they're at it.it's more that there's still a large contingent of console players that aren't upgrading/moving to PC. After all, PS4s and XB1s are still good enough to play Fortnite/CoD/Apex/Fifa/Madden.
Hogwarts did a port to previous gen consoles that did pretty well, for example.
