By inky Go To PostLive service in what sense? Expansions? Cosmetic store a la Assassin's Creed? Co-op/MMO ish live design?some form of monetized, rotational content. wide berth there but i really think that 'live service sucks' has always been way too broad of a stroke
By DY_nasty Go To PostReally don't see how a live service model hurts Hogwarts - or any game really
doesnt have to. but i wouldnt have bought it like.
By C4-621 Go To Post'technofeudalism' 💀hey I never liked the hats

A lot of times those games fall flat simply because they're shit
It depends on the what’s considered a live service now. Some extra content DLC? Sure, go for it.
Seasonal wizardry battlepass with skins tied to a level up system? Ehhh
By HottestGrapes Go To PostAnybody tried console Valorant yet?I'm happy to not get my ego bruised by losing against 12 year olds, thanks.
By Kibner Go To PostYup. Just about every electronic device will still pull power unless you physically unplug it or the power switch completely disconnects the circuit. That's why some people have switched to using Advanced Power Switches (APS) and sometimes pair them with a timer to schedule their electronics turning fully off at night or while they are at work or something. It can save you hundreds of dollars in energy costs every year.even your charger is stealing money if it's plugged in.
Yeah but a tiny amount. I think i calculated once that my charger uses about 30 cents if i leave it plugged in a whole year.

im thinking about trying king arthur: knight's tale again now that its had a ton of updates
i remember being a really solid game mechanically, just awkward when it came to progression

Gothic remake looking alright. Maybe I'll finally go through it properly.
Titan Quest II is looking very rough, man. 😠Reminds me a little bit of me of Drakensang* Online, which was a browser game, except with even less density and equivalent graphical fidelity for 2024.
(not to be confused with Drakengard)
By inky Go To PostOK, GOTY…🤣🤣

No time for love, only deicide.

Finished Thank Goodness You’re Here. Hard game to praise without spoiling the jokes. All I can say is if you play the demo and like it, you’ll like the full game. I thought it was great. Something I’ll replay to see the bits I missed out on.
Thinking of buying Nobody Wants To Die. I know very little about it, have only seen about 30 seconds of gameplay. Something about it is calling to me.

Bit harsh on Zabo's posts.
By Zabojnik Go To PostI stand behind my review. Hire me, Game Informer.Who's gonna tell him
One of these decades I'll finally play a MH game. Likely when I get word it's been designed entirely around coop.
Really enjoying Dungeons of Hinterberg. The combat is basic and I think I will be kind and say it's sufficient - it can pop off when you've unlocked more interesting abilities but you're animation locked a lot of the time which I never really enjoy. But the vibes are good, it can look nice (despite thinking initially it looked awful) and the persona-lite social stuff is a nice, extra simple layer of RPG stuff. So I will say thank Mr. Game Pass because I would never have actually just straight up bought this game.
