Tried to go back for S3 and just couldn't. Game is easier to gear and endgame, but something about the character building is completely unappealing. It's just aspect farming for efficiency sake, but there isn't really any exciting gameplay or builds happening at all. There's nothing to discover in terms of its open, interconnected world and not even like a pull from its garbage MMO-lite design. It's just treading old ground (but worse) for the sake of the "service".
But Aztec-warrior-monk like Spiritborn class? Jaguar mount? Man, I almost dropped $70 to pre-order this expansion. I'm not even sure I like the game at all! smh. Luckily for me, my refrigerator crapped out and I had to buy a new one this month. Thankfully, I will never recover financially from this setback, so at least that's my money not going into more videogames for the foreseeable future.
I honestly don’t know why I keep it installed. I should just remove it from my system. It did serve me well in figuring out how to get hdr working through Lutris in Linux, though. And I guess the mindless grinding did help my mental a couple times.
Oh, the single player was worthwhile. Maybe I'll pick up the expansion when it is on sale if the story is decent enough.

Fun concept where you practice the fights over and over but if you fail the real fight it's fully game over.

Kinda wish the runs were more luck-based rather than taking all of your upgrades in every time, but still. No idea how far the upgrades go for equipment and guns, feel like I've already done a lot and I haven't even finished chapter 1. Hopefully just the case that the first few levels are cheap, will be a bit shit if you get fully decked out before the early game has even passed.
