By domino Go To PostI tried out Alabama for my first game and Milroe is gonna be mid-00s Vick level of toxic in online play.I was reading up on a bunch of stuff off Operation Sports, and I think it may have been a mistake getting into bed with the players to add their NIL to the game.
You can't edit anything from the base roster and you can't change or edit numbers from the regens in the Dynasty mode. That might change in the future but it's definitely weird.
They probably should have just saved their money, stuck with no name players with just numbers and then allowed the community to put their own files together to share. With the amount of people that seemingly have had the game for the last month, we could have a solid base file to work with on day one before they go patching things.
When I think of the lengths we had to go through on the PS2 (game Shark or Shark wire whatever) to update NCAA and PES files for editing purposes, and now with how simplified and streamlined that entire process could be, it almost makes me miss it.
People have good memories of those NCAA games (with good reason, NCAA 11-14 era was sublime, but they were great from 06 even) and they are fiending over a new installment after a decade.
Those games used to play very differently to Madden too, not only the playbooks with the million option plays and tricks, but the physics and agility of the runners, deep passing, were all so snappy. On the Career and Dynasty side they were on a completely different level, while Madden has gutted Franchise mode to a nothing mode that runs out steam after barely 10 seasons and focused instead on monetizing UT.
Remains to be seen if the new College games actually do feel different, or they are just the same shit with the brunt of the work done on the flair side of things. They have all the presentation flourishes, keeping good gameplay elements like stadium pressure and adding wear and tear on top, and coach and sim seem to be as deep as they ever were, which has been received super positively.
(it's also not available on old consoles/PC)

Alan Wake was quality when it came out. I'll be honest and say I can imagine it hasn't aged well though, like a lot of games from that gen.
