Has it always been that way?No, the current tier of Game Pass Console gives uses the day one releases without the PC access, but it turns out giving games away day one on a subscription service wasn't sustainable. They're now trying to sell you games and a subscription service for multiplayer again right before Call of Duty comes out and a massive amount of people wouldn't have paid for it. Curious.
Once my current Ultimate sub expires, I won't renew. I'll go back to whatever they're calling Xbox Live Gold and just buy Gears of War.
I blame Sony for not copying Game Pass with day 1 releases. As consumers we almost had something in our favor

The monkey speedrun level was the only thing in between me and being global top 10 for the overall speedrun leaderboard. That was the only one I just couldn't get close to the top on.

God the Epic Games Launcher is so shit. It can't handle controllers (or wireless ones at least), keeps going back to keyboard input immediately after pressing any button on the controller and the sensitivity is unusable BUT if I launch the games through Steam everything works perfectly. jfc Tim, get it together.

Does anyone know how they did the textures on the artefacts in Astro's Playroom btw? The detail on the PS2 controller in particular is crazy. I assume there was some ultra high resolution 3D scanning going on.
