Few hours of trying later. Built super tanky, mini gun, melee blade, dual missiles. Absolutely shat on that bastard.
Now am I just dumb/bad or is the enemy at the end of Chapter 3 ā eliminate the enforcement squadsā a huge difficulty spike out of nowhere? The actual bosses werenāt even that challenging.
Between the shield bashes and the charged laser shots. I felt like fodder in Doom getting hit with a ballista/super shotty combo.

The earlier 2v1 fight was so easy with the dual Ludlows. Made some good progress on Heavy Calavary with them but I just couldnāt get a reliable guard break, kept getting caught out up close with a shield bash/laser charge shot.
Minigun was like discovering fire. Just pelted the cunt at mid range, then closed in with the melee on a guard break. Had enough HP to tank a lot of damage too, which helped.
S ranking this is going to hell isnāt it?

But you gotta approach each mission in a completely different way, which was loads of fun for me. And you'd be surprised which ones turn out to be difficult

Beat Mohg on my magic character yesterday (and Morgott) but still level 113 so maybe underleveled.
167 on NG+ on my original melee character but only just got to Caria Manor.

I was worried beating the final boss put you straight into NG+ so I was holding off, realised it lets you continue so I beat it. Really underwhelming final boss tbh, but good to finally tick it off.

Elden Beast was a visual feast (the cutscene is incredible too) but annoying AF. Would've been so much better with Torrent, even for story reasons.

I think I found Fortissax at too high a level. He died in like a third of the time that fucking dragon right at the start of Farum Azula took. So was a very underwhelming fight. But tbh dragon bosses are probably my least favourite archetype in From games.
Think I might try and finish the bosses tonight before the football starts.
I usually donāt think much of them but I loved how he looked and I used bows and it felt unique to my playstyle. Was probably under levelled too. Good tings.

HDR on Windows never changes.
Shockingly back in 2018/2019, Ubisoft consistently nailed HDR on PC. Dunno if they still do.
It just worked, whether it was enabled on the Desktop or not. It could be toggled in-game. Full calibration tool in game. No raises black levels or crushed whites.

Iām just talking about every game having its own hdr settings and no two game have the same settings or have them mean the same thing so I have to setup the in-game settings for each one when I just want to play the dang game.
FF7 Rebirth, for instance, has a setting that controls the max luminance. But it is on an integer scale of 1-10 and you need to look up an external resource to see what number corresponds to the max hdr brightness setting on your display.
Doom Eternal has a bunch of settings that are just āI dunno, play with them and see what you like mostā. Thankfully, the defaults seem sensible.

AC6: Beat the ice worm, cleared A rank fights in the arena. The end of chapter 3 had some fantastic fights in it. If this keeps climbing it might just dethrone Metal Gear Rising for best game featuring mechs.
Edit: Dual ludlows dropped for dual machine guns. Holy fuck do they rip and tear.
