By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostI'm just saying if they do the game like NBA 2k, it would be different in that the core of the game would basically be Pro Clubs. The Mycareer experience on NBA 2k is all about the player you make, their version of Ultimate team (myteam) is profitable but the money maker is Mycareer where they got mtx for everything, from clothes to animations to even needing to buy gatorade boosts. The greed and mtx crammed into NBA 2k and the career mode makes EA seem honorable.Oh I'm fully aware of the way 2k has gone for the past few years, but I think it's easier to based your game around a certain model (mycarrer/myteam) when you have an already established game/fanbase.
If they aren't prioritizing gameplay and without any licenses I just don't see how they can even begin to attract the type of players that will spent money in it.
Is it worth paying any attention to rapport in Unicorn Overlord, or just treat it as a byproduct of the playthrough?
Enjoying it a lot, three or so hours in. Trying not to use Josef too much since I can see him taking too much xp away from everyone else if I do. Stamina and Valor systems seem like very good layers of strategy to prevent the whole thing from being a mere case of optimising your units and abilities. Playing it on the second hardest difficulty, not far enough in yet to know whether I'll end up changing it.
Didn't even realise it has an overworld.

You can bench Josef almost immediately. Rapport is kinda whatever.
I think the second and third zones are peak.

lmao
you have no idea
you think ultimate team is ridiculous. get ready for a single player MTX focused futsal facility styled arena hub world where you ride around unicorns and other dumb shit to traverse it just to enter a game
fifa is broken on a fundamental level, it's the furthest thing from football as can be. nothing about that game looks like football or plays like football.
more predatory or less predatory mtx implementation is not even on my radar tbh.
it hasn't actually, I played PES 6 this year. it's better than every fifa released post fifa 11. the games are varied enough, the ai isn't dumb and predictable and the players respect basic laws of physics. the ai not being dumb also makes it better than pes 2021.
there is no comparison lmao fifa is just fucking ridiculous. a ridiculous looking game, ridiculous scoring game, played by ridiculous people.

'Beat' Animal Well, pretty good, but some of the platforming sections just don't hold up perfectly.
Do I try to get every egg?

Do I try to get every egg?
Lots of backtracking though. Each row represents a section of the map btw, that should help.
Dont bother with the rabbits. Absolute insanity and you get nothing for them

Wonder what it's like for the football fans who work on it, know full well that it feels awful to play and look at as both a realistic representation of football and as an arcadey one, and also know that it may never improve much in that regard
It blows my mind that both PES and FIFA just fucked off the idea that it should appear and feel satisfying to, you know, have a player kick the fucking ball. Was watching a bit of FIFA the other day and in each ten minute match there was about four occasions where someone would press and release the shoot button, and the player would take at least one more touch even when the ball was already out of their feet, or was arriving to them for a first time shot.
And when they do shoot they've still got that boneless rigging shit going on that makes limbs flail about at whatever angle is necessary for the foot to approximately reach the ball.

If I wear my headphones for a long time, I have a small indentation where you can see the strap on my big ol bald head.
But it goes away after like an hour lol.

Done with Hellblade 2, it was indeed disappointing, but I still got a moderate amount of enjoyment out of it. Definitely worth the 8€ I spent. It's basically The Order: 1886 for the new age, which is another cinematic game that didn't live up to people's lofty expectations and another one I'm glad I got to play or rather experience ... once I was able to get it for a tenner and by going in bracing for the absolute worst. It really wasn't.
It is baffling that Ninja Theory decided to not only not improve and expand on the original's formula, but downgrade it significantly in everything but the presentation. I'm still not sure UE5's look & feel will ever truly win me over, but there are some undeniably gorgeous sequences in this. It's a really neat audiovisual package overall and if you manage to somehow get on its frequency despite the shitty puzzles and throwaway combat ...
There is something of value in there. Not a lot and less than I'd hoped for, but it's there.
