By Fenderputty Go To PostSuper glad I’m on lethal. Thanks lol
Outside of a couple duels, it still almost feels too easy with all these buffs. I’m glad the duels remove all that crap.
I also recommend doing all the blue quest markers as they all lead to gear. I’m mostly run around with the travelers gear, but will swap out for encampments and story quests. My favorite is the blue quest given ronin gear. Good stats but mostly cause it looks bad ass and the duel to get the gear is also fun
Kenshin get up the best looking love it to death.
Bring me Ghost of Tsushima 2
Don't think the first was brilliant, but it kept me engaged for a few dozen hours. Really in the mood for another game like that and Assassin's Creed doesn't scratch that itch anymore.

Reveal in June isn't it?

By HottestGrapes Go To PostThe worst thing about Hellblade 2 is it has set the Gamers off on the topic of hand length again.I'm sure there are quite a bit of people singing the praises of intentionally short games. Now the caveat is that this is Gamepass so it being part of a built in cost/fee removes game length as a detriment or complaint in that argument. If was $70 for less than 10 hours and maybe 6 at most the tone would be completely different.

Short games with gameplay are great. Re 2 was banging and dense af for a 4 hour game. Hb2 looks like its 5 hours of holding a thumbstick and occasionally pressing the left bumper to walk faster

unlike some of you
you'll play any old shit, u have no respect for ur time. u will regret it when you're staring death in the eyes

It's largely pointless in a game if there's nothing to actually play.
Interested in trying Nier, I see there’s Nier Automata and Replicant but which one should I try first?

Well yeah, which is why seeing people complain and demand the game be 10+ hours is so insufferable.
4-6 hours is the sweet spot for a heavily cinematic game. Always has been.

Automata is very cool. It's unlike anything you'll ever play and you don't really need to suffer through Replicant to enjoy it

I’m not sure I agree with the sweet spot, seems limiting. I will agree that using filler to lengthen a game is worse than a short game though
I couldn't get through my watch of the HB playthrough. I didn't find it engaging narratively. Still going to download HB2 and see if it's better.

even the remake

I see, thx bros

By Zabojnik Go To PostI'll play around with it some more, I think some of it has to do with the film grain or whatever cinematic post-processes they're running. I imagine you'll be able to achieve a significantly cleaner IQ with a few settings tweaks not found in the game's menus. Dot ini gang forever.Yeah maybe, the game does use heavy post processing. Like I dont mind post processing, but at times it makes me wonder on what's the point of it.
HDR looking decent so far. Perfect blacks, at least.
I'm not impressed so far. Technically gorgeous, and battles while Punch Out simplistic, is pulled off well because of how good the animation is.
but it's frustrating to see this wide open areas and you're stuck inside a virtual corridor for it.
By Freewheelin Go To PostI see, thx brosI'm about 13 hours into Automata and I still prefer Replicant
By data Go To Post@kibner: we are so backI’m happy with it. My partner wants more balance changes and a commitment to them actually working on the game before she’ll play it again, unfortunately.
Saw a Tweet going around that MS would buy Valve for $16bn and that is most certainly the funniest thing I'll read today.
lmao i had no idea Steam Remote Play Together was so easy to implement (once your game actually supports local co-op):

All I can muster is a lower case “lmao”.
Gaben is pure.
By Flutter Go To PostHellblade 2 is disappointing.Only people disappointed are the ones that continue to follow Phil’s twitter trolls that act like every upcoming Xbox release is the greatest thing ever and totally gonna turn around the narrative.

By Flutter Go To PostHellblade 2 is disappointing.I listened to Jeff Gerstmann talk about it for about twenty minutes while running errands earlier.
Seems a perfect addition to Game Pass which you can get a three month subscription to for $35 right now. The game is only retailing for $50, so they obviously know what they're dealing with here.

Needs to be preserved like the brains at Big MT imo.

I'm not worried.
I'm extremely worried.
I’m optimistic that whoever steps into the position after Gabe will have the same mindset as him. Always that chance that they don’t though and go straight into taking the company public or selling it off.
Weird to consider what PC gaming will look like if that happens.
We can only hope he's wise at choosing his successors.
I think it wouldn't be a problem short term, but something like the Steam Deck is the result of so many years of experiments and background initiatives around controllers, UI and store design, Linux compat layers, remote link and streaming, hardware design, etc. and the store runs on so many things that aren't immediately focused on profitability, that some MBA cunt focused on quarter to quarter would instantly gut all of it, then imagine all SW and HW the talent leaving... it has the potential to be a nightmare long term.

PROFIT PROFIT PROFIT
Whoever replaces him will not have the same mindset, unless he’s been working on cloning a younger version of himself
By Laboured Go To PostThe famously not-primarily-run-for-profit Valve.this sounds like a bad post
