Xbox' problem is a brand problem. In the 23 ytears they've been in the console business, they've done nothing to lay down any international foundation or trust.
The weirdest take I've seen is people who act like there was nothing Microsoft could have done, and that gamers have always rejected them, completely ignoring that the Xbox 360 exists.

I feel like the 360’s success can be attributed to launching first and Arrogant Sony. They really fucking fumbled a lot with the PS3. The price, the release, the launch games, the difficulty to programme for, the PSN hack, etc.
They also actually had games and exclusives to incentives buying a 360. Timed exclusivity for CpD and GTAIV did some heavy lifting.
If they release a new console alongside Sony releasing the PS6, it’ll be lucky to do WiiU numbers.
Back on my Assassin's creed run after a few months hiatus. Just finished Origins. Probably the best one so far. Parkour felt the best one yet but was the first game where it really wasn't required that much. Best story and combat, even though they did veer away from Arkham-like combat. I'm surprised there hasn't been a game fully set in Rome, with the protagonist being an ex-gladiator or something like that.

Although I’m enjoying F4, I miss the guns of NV. Just so many options.
I’m doing a pistol build in F4 and it’s kinda shit with how few options there are. Basically boils down to using the Deliverer and a .44 revolver.
Nexus came to the rescue though since I added a desert eagle and a 5.56 burst pistol that Robocop would be proud of.
We desperately need some competition for EA but FIFA won't be it. The future of virtual football looks bleak.

I could never replay Borderl- Fallout 4, mods couldn't fix the lack of dialogue choices, the boring writing and side-quests.
I've installed 3 weapon packs in NV which have added 50+ weapons, a shitload of pistols among them. Some people think modern guns don't fit in Fallout but forget 2 had the P90 and HK G11, two of the most futuristic-looking modern weapons.
