By Laboured Go To PostHades is one of those games that I played when it was very, very early access and thought it was just OK, and then in like a few months of updates they realized all of its potential and it turned out an amazing game.
Reckon I won't see quite the steep curve this time around, but I'm curious how they improve something that was already so fucking good. Could be one of the goat Part 2s.
I'm one that thought Hades was both a very good game and extremely overrated.
Just bought the second though, hopefully it's a better roguelite this itme around...there just wasn't anywhere near enough variety for the praise it got (in both gameplay, environments and enemy variety)

Lack of variety in everything hurt its replayability for me
Hades 1’s variety came from the difficulty modifiers. It was no Isaac, but it had enough going for it to be a top 5 rogue like.
Unlike Returnal. Which was a great game but a terrible rogue like. Dare say that would’ve been better as a pure metroidvania, but that’s a dirty word here.
