Funny. I'd read that the show has the most direct connections to the first two games.

2 years old but:
When compared with other markets, it seems Japan still absolutely loves physical games,” says Kantan Games’ Serkan Toto, a veteran watcher of the Japanese industry, who points to the most recent survey from Japan’s Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA). CESA found that physical games accounted for about 70 percent of total sales in Japan in 2022, including 65 percent of PlayStation 5 games and 77 percent of Switch releases. By comparison, Sony says that 70 percent of full PS4 and PS5 game sales in 2022 were digital across the world.

maybe the other cs fans here would know for sure, but they might just play in a 640x480 unscaled window and they can still see the whole window while that close to the screen
playing at lower resolutions used to actually provide an aim advantage unrelated to fps way long ago but i don't think it has applied since cs:source was released nearly 20 years ago? please correct me if i am wrong

A holdover from CS made it to Siege too. Many nerds and pros play 4:3, 5:4 and 3:2 aspect ratio, stretched to a 16:9 monitor.
Why? Because some CS pros play/played 4:3.

They will claim 4:3 stretched will still give you an advantage, due to wider heads.
By WoodenLung Go To Postoh yeah?Future generations will not believe this.

Stuff like this is genuinely because of things like how they grow up playing with a tiny desk or room or some shit. Look at the pic wooden posted of the guy with his keyboard swung around... just used to it after many years. They have thousands of hours with that as their setup as a kid.
