It's happening, I promise. December was the reverse of august -> november for me, gaming (finally) took a back seat.
Still not done with Hogwarts Legacy, the only game I've touched over the past 30 days. Still mildly enjoying it.

Got my new Macbook last week, found out that emulation on mac is surprisingly good these days.
Been kicking around with rpcs3, aetherSX2 and Ryujinx.
Mostly PS2 stuff with HD texture backs. It's pretty fun!

It was either Cobalt or Monster Train for me and I went for the latter because it has less furries

Witcher 3 is a difficult game to return to after over seven years. I'm really struggling to complete the two expansions after beating the game and then breezing through NG+ on Death March all those years ago. I just can't remember everything and am overwhelmed.
I should have just installed the free PS5 upgrade and started the entire game over as a refresher. 🫤

Wild how dropped pelts despawn as soon as they're out of sight in RDR2 but you can store trash in a random barrel and it'll stay there the entire game in Skyrim
Also partly why Skyrim looked like mud on release and every subsequent re-release while RDR2 is still the one of the best looking games despite being half a decade old.

I don't think I'll ever like any other deckbuilder
you may serve me as my nightly delight lmao rogue trader is wild
the combat is sometimes slower than fucking battletech, but when it clicks (and you remember the pages of text for certain ability combos) goddamn its good

Saw some whinging about the ship combat in Rogue Trader being bad and too difficult to ignore, which iirc makes it three Owlcat games in a row with that problem. I didn't get far enough into WotR to see what that game's version of it was, but I know people really didn't like the Kingdom-building in Kingmaker.
