totally relate to not being interested in your job in that way but i do boring office stuff not acting.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostVampire’s Kiss is definitely up there; if only for it being the most Nic Cage performance ever. Then I’d throw in Raising Arizona and Moonstruck in there.
Wild At Heart and Moonstruck >
Just been to see Raging Bull.
Holy shit what a movie. Never seen it before. Started slowly and really leaned into Jake being a piece of shit after. Second house was incredible. He was an even bigger piece of shit, but became sympathetic?
Fuck me it's genius.

I'm sorry, people have been talking about "the most Nic Cage performance" and Deadfall hasn't been mentioned?!
Unquestionably the most Nic Cage

By Willkiller Go To PostLonglegs also has some real proper Cage
I think the early hype for M. Night Shyamalan has put some ridiculous expectations on his work, he was called the next Hitchcock or Spielberg.
That's the reason why I can think why Trap reviewed so poorly because it's one of the most entertaining movies I've seen this year.
He is fantastic director, I love so many shots of this movie.
Josh Hartnett is terrifc, he is one of the reasons why the movie works so well.
Allison Pill playing the mother of teenage kids makes me feel old.

Turned it off and just read the plot. The M Night twist was to get people to watch his daughter

By WoodenLung Go To Postwill probably continue the trend of making them worse as well. glass onion was fucking shit.It really was fucking dreadful
Decided to finally watch Terminator: Dark Fate. Thoroughly mediocre retread but still vastly superior to the sequels before it. Just bury this franchise.
The beginning: LMAO they killed John Connor.

Infernal Affairs: still amazing. Haven't seen it in fifteen years. Love it.
But also: the cover on MAX when you go to the movie details spoils the end of the movie. Tony Leung has a bullet hole in his head as he's standing in the elevator 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
