Such great dialog execution because he baited dude and just continued his line of thought without stopping while the guy thought he could get his word in lol

Black Reacher
It's been in development for years, John Boyega was originally playing the lead but quit a month into shooting.

By s y brev Go To Postborderlands movie is so obviously a front for money laundering it is hilariousI have a code for a $5 ticket (via T-Mobile) through the Atom app if anyone wants it.
You could always buy the ticket and then walk into another theater.
Reminder that Borderlands had a script from Craig Marzin that was rumoured to be great but Eli Roth didn't liked it and decided to rewrite it.

based on his work on the last of us, i'll say he's overrated.
By DY_nasty Go To PostDon't think there's a universe where a borderlands movie turns out goodthey could have done comedy version of Mad max
I would have watched over what ever the fuck that was,

Tales of the Borderlands was a good blueprint.
It's currently at 6%. Which is so bad I'll probably watch it to see how bad it is once it hits a streaming service.
Joaquin Phoenix pulled out of a movie he helped create and raised finance for. Fucked over a lot of people.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostNot even the worst thing Jack Black has done this year.selling out your best friend of 3 decades for the borderlands movie is wild
Watched 25th Hour there. Enjoyed it (though surprised to see that according to wiki it ranked very highly in the BBC list of best films of the 21st century). Always appreciate when a slice of life, character film is compelling. You would think it would be easy to make a boring film along those lines.
- fuckin great montage at the end.
- written by one of the Game of Thrones guys!?
- always great to see the signature Spike Lee glide
- Brian Cox is unrecognisable compared to now. Actually don't think I've seen him in anything apart from Bourne and Succession (and the higher profile he's got in the UK now as a result of that) so I didn't actually realise they were the same actor in those films.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostIncredible how there's a new Alien movie coming out next week and it's apparently really good. Are you trying to tell me that early social media impressions have been overwhelmingly positive?
By Willkiller Go To PostAre you trying to tell me that early social media impressions have been overwhelmingly positive? It's been shown a few times to the public, including at D23 this weekend, and everybody is saying that is easily the best since the original two. There's still an embargo on social media impressions but I expect it to review really well.
People are saying that there's still a lot that the trailers haven't shown (I stopped watching them because I felt they were showing too much) and that the third act is wild.
I just watched Alien Covenant. Thought it was decent enough but it’s basically the same film as Prometheus lol. Bit bummed we won’t get a conclusion to the prequels but oh well. Hyped for the new one and I’ve ignored all trailers.
Covenant was one of the rare movies i've seen that actually made me angry while i was watching it. Angry that i'd paid real money to watch it. Horrible, dreadful film.

But I will wait for actual reviews before I even consider getting excited, wasn't impressed by the trailers tbh it just looked very...generic. But you know, trailers.
