As much as Prometheus was flawed, I did like that they were trying to tell something of an interesting story with the Engineers.
This just looks like a pretty by the numbers horror film with Xenomorphs and Facehuggers, feels a bit pointless when Alien exists. I guess more gore will be the thing this time?

It was escalating world building to make the Alien "mean something" rather than just be an unknown terror with no known origins made it more interesting because it allowed the viewer to fill in the blanks.
Instead we got some pasty bald dude jizzing into our streams.

I liked Prometheus when it came out but on rewatch I thought it was... not good. Very pretty and I love space MYSTERIES but honestly it was such a fucking fumble that I only slightly appreciate now because it's simply not as bad as what came after.

Prometheus had a great first hour and then the story came into play.
Worldbuilding and all the buildup was great, Ridley was just to far up his own arse.
Think the Romulus trailer looks good, even if they already spoil like 90% of the movie lol.
Will probably watch it if it comes on streaming, I saw Evil Dead in theatres and it wasn't worth the money.

Nothing will ever top Alien/Aliens for me but Romulus looks okay enough to watch in cinemas
