Stone Cold opens with a ripoff cobra scene where Brian bosworth even says clean up on aisle 4, then two bikers with Confederate flag and Nazi signs shooting beer off each other's heads with uzis, then bikers shooting a priest and getting convicted and then killing the judge. Then Brian bosworth is making a shake for his pet monitor lizard with Snickers bars , potato chips, and eggs
And it ain't even been 10 minutes

By data Go To PostAbsolutely disastrous numbers. Could be a sub 30M$ 4 day opening weekend.
Wile E Coyote wouldve had a better weekend
This is going to be an horrible year for theaters.
Stone cold is legit great. Lance henricksen totally carries the movie. He's supposed to be the antagonist but he kills multiple politicians so how am I supposed to boo that
I wanted a PSP so bad. Tried so hard to convince my mom that I wouldnt even have to buy games for it since pirating was so easy
Civil War was very Alex Garland. Looks really nice and the premise is pretty interesting (road trip through a wartorn America, not really the actual civil war stuff despite the film name). It starts off well. You're sat there thinking this could be an excellent film but it never gets there. And it's another shit ending. Oh well. Still decent enough but really hoped for more.
I say the ending is shit, the actual final scenes are quite tense until something happens that just felt so fucking stupid and contrived and like a ready made movie ending moment.
It's a shame if this is actually his last film. Even his poorest film (Men) is worth watching.

By Willkiller Go To PostSpiderman 2 was my first UMD, i can tell you thatMine came with a copy of Steamboy.
It was shit, but my friends and I convinced ourselves it was the best thing ever as we hunched ourselves over a fucking PSP to watch it.
By MF Coom Go To Poststraight to dvd?
netflix movie
The people have spoken, and they're saying that Fury Road wasn't good enough to pay to watch it's prequel.
By diehard Go To PostI blame Damian LillardOgden's own? Hell hath frozen over
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostThat just means it'll be on streaming sooner, I'm here for that.Nah, WB is 45 days minimum. The box office numbers are not shocking, it's just a continuation of what's happening.
The Fall Guy had better word of mouth, was a more attractive offer to the mainstream audience but it still failed on the box office.
The box office is changing, people are getting more used to watching things at home.
The four other people in the theatre for Furiosa with me yesterday did our part. They got our $8. So that's $20 each to the studio and Cinemark theatre. 🤷🏻♂️
By FortuneFaded Go To PostI thought this was the summer of Garfuriosa
i would like to make penisary contact to boths volvo tbh
Civil War was very good. I was annoyed at first about such an original and bold movie using such a boring trope as using a rookie journalist be the proxy of the audience but it ends up working fine.
The ending sequence is terrific.

That was what really soured me on the film. God I hated that ending so much, almost felt like comedy in how dumb it was rather than dramatic and sad.

Yea yea that wasn't the message or whatever but if you have any kind of passion this movie definitely motivated the fuck out of you
By LFMartins86 Go To PostWatching Civil War. When did Kirsten Dunst get this old?Interview with the vampire was 30 years ago.
By Willkiller Go To PostGlass Onion was terrible, but i'm in for a 3rdHorrible.
Knives out was excellent tho so I am mildly excited

lads... you gotta see force majeure. it basically takes the premise from seinfeld's bozo the clown episode, and has the father ditch his family when he thinks an avalanche is about to hit them. the film is about the aftermath of that and how the dynamic between the couple changes completely.
great performances. great cinematography. great script.
i thought it was exceptional.
By bud Go To Posthe peaked with his portrayal of ron burgundy in the first anchorman imho
so force majeure can’t be that good then
By bud Go To PostYeah it’s good. The best film from the director

Depends what he means like. The build up to the last 5 minutes is really tense and good imo. The two big beats of the actual ending were utter shit though.

The idea of Lee dying is there since the begging of the movie, so I would think that didn't changed but during the whole final scene they go a long a way to establishing that she is in some kind of shock and she could've easily got herself killed at any other instance if she is not moving/following correctly which makes the just standing there after tackling Jessie so bizarre.
Furiosa was fucking great. Slightly preferred Fury Road due to its tighter pacing, but this didn’t feel 2 hours and 28m either. Anya Taylor-Joy continues to impress me every time she's prominent on screen and Chris Hemsworth was having a fucking ball lmao, very entertaining performance from him.
The action is just as good as FR, wonderfully shot and edited. I love it when you can tell where every character is in a scene and not be confused about the stakes. Just top-tier action filmmaking yet again from Miller.
