Any slaentbros already seen Furiosa? Wondering if I should bother checking it out at the IMAX. Trailers were dogshit but reviews look good.
it’s not an imax movie, so it just seems like a waste of money.
will be watching it in a regular cinema.

Still a movie i want to see on the biggest possible screen even if it doesn't have any scenes shot specifically for imax

Yeah that's pretty much it for me. That and the seats are way nicer than the regular ones around here.

Furiosa was good. But lmao when that Højlund TikTok lookalike showed up... Sad he didn't sing loneliness will follow me around
Mad Max 2.5/5
The Road Warrior 4.5/5
Beyond Thunderdome 3.5/5
Fury Road 5/5
First 45 mins of BT is great. Love the world building. Love the town run on pig shit. The chase sequence at the end is much more like Fury Road in terms of how it’s shot than Road Warrior is; Miller practising for the hyperkinetic stylised masterwork that comes 20 years later. Shame about too much of the Peter Pan Lost Boys schtick. Glad one of them died in the desert. Miller got cojones.
Mel Gibson is not good in these movies. Hardy > Gibbo
Furiosa on Sat hopefully

My dad took me to Marlow for a Wimpy when I was recovering from an ear operation, and we got The Matrix on dvd
Doing the Furiosa matinee tomorrow morning. Only four tickets sold so far. Hope it stays in the single digits. 🤞🏼
My first DVD was definitely North By Northwest and it was on a PS2. First Blu-ray was Casino Royale on PS3. Two good ones.

I think my first DVD was Pirates of the Caribbean: Black Pearl.
I do remember my first Blu Ray and it being the Bluray + 3D version of Top Gun.
Putting that bad boy in the PS3 and showing off my new 1080P + 3D TV was so hype.
I distinctly remember going crazy about how good the water looked.
