Was funny at the game on Sunday, the amount of Nuñez chants. Even as soon as Jota scored, we were all chanting "Nuñez, Nuñez".
Fans determined he doesn't lose confidence.

LMAO they’re looking into Zidane? Dude wouldn’t go anywhere near United in their current state. Clueless club.

If these players outlast yet another manager at Man Utd, then I wish all footballing hell on them.

Ideally we don't make any changes until Jim is in and has a look at restructuring the football department. Hopefully its true that the Glazers don't have a say.
Pick the next manager based on their style of play, capabalities of the current players of which they want to keep for the long term and those coming through from the academy. Bring in an experienced DoF and build to that structure.
Brighton and recently Newcastle seem to have done this really well from what I've read.
There's no point of brining in a manager like De Zerbi (for example) expecting good results, and then giving him this lot to play a possession game when about 80% of the current starting 11 look scared everytime the ball is at their feet.
ETH probably had an idea of how he wanted to play when he first came in, but to me it feels like the players he's actually got aren't very good (this fault lies with a mix of the players/manager/owners) and he had to adapt his style of play in the first season.
This season with Onana, Mount, Amrabat coming in (all signings he wanted), Hojlund (not his first choice ST) and having to make do with Evans (We Broke), I think he wanted to revert back to what he was trying for the start of last season. But it's clearly not worked out and that's on the manager and players.
Going from Frankie De Jong to Casemiro was pure panic following the losses and instantly moved away from what they seemed to be going for. Antony was not needed and was clearly another overpriced manager backed mistake. He's still not got the De Jong type of midfielder his ideal style of play needed and he's trying to get Casemiro/Amrabat to play that role. Both have been very underwhelming this season.
I do think ETH will last for the rest of the season (unless shit gets very very bad) and hopefully gets a chance to field his strongest XI at some point as he has been unlucky with injuries.
Based on player traits and style, the closest player we have to being the ideal 6 for his style seems to be Mainoo. Thankfully he's back soon, we might see a bit of a difference, but doesn't help when the ideal ball playing CBs are both out and players have no confidence.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostLMAO they’re looking into Zidane? Dude wouldn’t go anywhere near United in their current state. Clueless club.I guess we'll see, but he came out with a statement the other day that was viewed as him effectively saying he wasn't interested in the Utd job. He doesn't speak English fluently apparently so he has no interest in coaching in England. He also said since he's had so much success he can be very choosey with the job.
By Scum Go To PostTime to get your club out of the 90s Fergie era, Killer. #ModernHard to really care too much this season. Especially when the team is playing badly and you go into games expecting a defeat. Unfortunately it seems to have become the norm for too many of the last 10 seasons.
There's a slight bit of hope that there might actually be some change coming above the manager (much needed) and hopefully that has a positive impact going forward. Feel like the changes above will be even more significant than the actual manager change.

Trincão is taken down inside the box and Gyokeres scores the penalty.
28 minutes, 2-0 even with an heavily rotated side (Gonçalo Inácio is playing as a midfielder and doing it very well).

ETH will get kicked out.
New manager will bring Sancho and Maguire back into the fold
Sancho and Maguire will have a few good games and people will say "see, it was ETH all along"
Then they will revert back to their normal shite and people will say "well its a team in transition/they don't have the fitness levels because ETH froze them out/ hard to perform with that kind of uncertainty around the club"

By Lego Go To PostWhy's it feel like Sporting play 4 times a weekThey can't let their fans get bored or else they'll get beat up
By Scum Go To PostDoubt it.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostAnyone checked on Pele to see if he is alive? His Botafogo played 2nd placed Palmeiras yesterday, they were leading 3-0 at half time but ended up losing 3-4. They now only have a 3 point advantage over Palmeiras (but also have played one game less), they had a 14 point advantage a few months ago.Im here. Life is suffering. We also had a penalty when we were 3x1 up and Tiquinho missed. We gonna let it slip.

By Pedja Go To PostMaybe martins is just making it up and knows we wont look it upIf I was making it up, I won't put Inácio in midfield because it would be too unrealistic.
I wish this version of Trincão showed up more because that was tasty.

Maybe Nagelsman is a good choice. Does he also play videogames when he isn’t driving his motorcycle without an helmet?
Maybe that’s what we need, a Maverick.

Definitely happy as a Liverpool fan that Bielsa is the coach over there.
