He should be, but it's impossible to move him on at that price and wages. Couldn't get a £10 note for him.
By inky Go To PostI remember Old Man Ralf talking about Man Utd needing open heart surgery and the poor sod was sent away from the club instead of sending him upstairs. That lot you’ve listed there look like they belong at West Brom.DalotEvansLindelofMaguireMcTomDonnyMartialSancho
This like, the minimum. Start this winter.
By Scum Go To PostWho's on the list, Cleff?! Show it to me!Forgot Sancho was even a part of the squad. That's how little we've actually missed him. Even if Ten Hag gets sacked, he should be one of the first players out the door. In theory he's what we're missing. A player adept at linking midfield and attack from wide and central areas. But he's been such a disappointment on and off the pitch. Not shown any if the ability
Out in January
Casemiro
Sancho
Out in the summer
As for others. Dalot, AWB, Varane, Evans, Eriksen, Antony, McTominay, Amrabat, Martial, VDB and Lindelof can all leave.
A few of our younger players like Hannibal probably aren't good enough either, but they're athletically far better than what we have so should be kept to see if they can improve.

We get physically bullied routinely.
Varane is still our best one on one defender on the ground and at aerial challenges. But he can't play every game and picks up injuries frequently. He's also pretty poor on the ball.
That could be excused when he was playing well. But his lack of availability, declining athleticism and age really works against him.

Not to rub salt in the wound but man what a fucking disaster idea it was to sign Casemiro. Coming from Real to United his wages have to be astronomical, and his transfer fee was like 60m? What an incredibly myopic call that was.

As was said at the time.

By Laboured Go To PostIt's great because ETH wants a DM that can do the stuff that Modric / Kroos does, so we're giving him a completely different type of DM. It's 4D chess stuff, really.
By Cleff Go To PostCasemiro is a panic buy. A very good player who'll improve us is certain areas. But not in the areas ETH flagged as the most important I'm sure.
By n8 dogg Go To PostCasemiro is a stupid short term signing that suggests we have not learned any lessons over the last ten years.
Sacking the manager now might give you a slight chance of getting top5, but that's all in hope of having an extended "New manager bounce" similar to Ole's initial period.
Ultimately the ownership situation needs sorting as soon as, and then the lads above the manager. Sounds like it'll be Blanc and Mitchell coming in to hopefully build some proper structure and stability. Need this to be sorted before any new manager imo

By Perfect Blue Go To PostWho would even come in if United sack ETH? A caretaker rest of the season or…?My gawd? Is that… is that Frank The Lamp’s music?!!
Read through this thread and it was amazing.
But not even the best matchday postings of the week. Just another L for United.
That is a hard disagree.
United were fucking awful. The only reason why you might say that is because Spurs were even worse and United somehow got even worse in the second half.
IIRC, the general consensus on here was that the football from both teams in the first half was just dreadful.

Yeah it was a very bad half of football. But successful from United’s POV dragging a Spurs team in form down to their level.
By Meier Go To PostMissed this. ☠️
Still think Wan Bissaka would cook as a right side CB in a back three. The guy can defend he just can't do much else.

Doesn’t have the positional awareness. Gets away with it more wide because he’s a very good one-on-one defender and they’re usually more isolated out wide. Whenever he comes central he’s caught ballwatching way too often.
Morning, lads. Have we lost yet?
By KimoSan Go To PostStill think Wan Bissaka would cook as a right side CB in a back three. The guy can defend he just can't do much else.Nah. I say he needs better CBs next to him. Stick Topsoba and/or Todibo near him instead.

Toulouse away on a Thursday evening at 5:45pm has all the markings of a 1-0 defeat. I somehow expect Christian Poulsen and Joe Cole to be playing.

Yeah. Feel like the decision could have gone either way, but the way Arsenal have acted after this has been absolutely pathetic. This is nothing close to a Diaz situation or similar where an obvious error was made.

Either way it's unbelievably pathetic, but if they really believe it was on that kind of level...I think we might have got an answer for some of the weird Arsenal decisions over the past few months...Arteta just might be stupidest man in football.
