By inky Go To PostYou respond to a post by a Spurs fan talking about a City fan making this about them like Liverpool fans do, by making this… about United?
You sound like a Newcastle fan.
Oh my fucking god.

I think I am going to have to watch the full game.
Reading Romero got a red does not surprise me.
Might be the dumbest football I have ever seen.
Genuinely think every time he make a legit tackle that it is just a bad tackle gone wrong.

Romero has a bad record for red cards, and that doesn’t include the ones he got away with like the hair pull on Cucurella.
Good defender but a danger on the pitch to both teams.

By Crusher Go To PostWhy Inky talk to me please.Well, the big one is the match engine is much better. Much more fluid, but it seems it's not just a visual improvement.
Players are a bit looser in possession and at speed there's more opportunities for take ons or interceptions. Wingers dribble more skillfully too. I've even seen strikers taking an extra touch to make the keeper commit. AI seems a bit smarter with players making better decisions, but also more realistic mistakes.
I've only played a few hours of course; I tried a couple of similar game plans to the ones that I've been using on my FM22 save. First impressions is that pressing is more active and dependant on the players level of fitness and physical stats. Slow players get caught out of position more often.
As far as other improvements, players give you better feedback on their roles and instructions during games, and it seems to have an effect on the pitch. Set pieces management is finally not a fucking boring mess. Transfers keep improving, and there's a bit more granularity to agreeing on a deal.
Not sure if the game is harder, need to go a few seasons for that. It seems the opposition can exploit bad play and low chemistry better at least. I've had some instances of getting caught with a high line, Ange style.
It just feels like the most complete package they've put out with every aspect of the game having some depth to it. Being the final game in this engine, it seems fitting.

Shakhtar have another in the back of the net.. great shot by the guy. Flagged for offside. Pretty close though.
