Just kept saying over and over again he didn't understand how point differential worked and that teams that were 2-2 or whatever should advance just cause they're better.
read up on the new Mavs owners.
apparently it's an 78 year old woman with a 25 year old son who is a big basketball fan (bought himself an isreali team this year) meaning he will likely run the Mavs.
a 25 year old unqualified nepo baby lmao they're cooked.

100% agree, and all the players getting angry about it made me laugh. DeRozan got ejected from the game over it, don't get mad, just don't get blown out.
It's also showing a much more accurate gap of who's good and who's not. Bulls have been fooling themselves last few seasons with their middling success. Had they been blown out more regularly because teams had an incentive to run the score up, it might've pushed them to do changes sooner.
By missing the in-season tournament, the Wolves now get to play San Antonio and Memphis next week.
Why would I want to make this tournament again?

I think there is a bit of a disconnect with running up the score because teams are playing for different things. A team that has already been eliminated from the in-season tournament has an incentive to sit their starters to rest for the next game while a team that is still in contention has an incentive to play their starters and run up the score. They are essentially not on the same playing field once it's clear the game is over.
If they are going to make point differential a deciding factor, then make it a factor in all games or take it out completely. You can't say "but it's it a regular season game!" and then just say oh but the rules are different in the same sentence.
