Infinite unknown theorem is what scientist call it
By jjasper Go To PostI mean he is right that there is a ton of nepotism in the league already, I've complained about it before myself. That doesn't mean you stop talking about it when one of the most blatant and public examples of it happens.
Not Woj’s finest moment.
I get the ownership stuff. But trying to equate people like JB Bickerstaff or Tim Hardaway Jr to this is dumb.
By jjasper Go To PostI get the ownership stuff. But trying to equate people like JB Bickerstaff or Tim Hardaway Jr to this is dumb. It's all in service to ESPN and their tunnel vision in keeping the Lakers on their broadcast schedule. Bronny and Lebron is such an easy lazy narrative to sell that they couldn't help themselves.
I'm ready for Lebron to retire.
It’s probably better overall for morale if lebron is just interested in Bronny getting better than having unrealistic expectations of JJ and the season in general I guess

Dame's cousin is probably the closest

Date em, dunk em, drop em was definitely a thing when I was growing up in the LDS cult. One of the most insidious organizations on this planet.

Thanasis has held a roster spot for 5 years and I think he’s averaged like 3 points a game each season

True, but he did play in Europe and spent some time in the G League before joining the Bucks. I was thinking of signing guys with no pro experience

There's also the inherent benefits of being drafted over being signed as an UFA. And at least Thanasis has some size
By pilonv1 Go To PostThere's also the inherent benefits of being drafted over being signed as an UFA. And at least Thanasis has some sizeIt's better to be an UDFA than a 2nd round pick. You can actually negotiate for guaranteed money.

If you have the talent to get it, not when you're a 6'1 PG who averaged 5ppg. Was thinking of the new second round exemption for example
By Kibner Go To PostIt's better to be an UDFA than a 2nd round pick. You can actually negotiate for guaranteed money.I get what you are saying but i bet if you compared recent 2nd round picks vs UDFAs, I'm guessing the 2nd round picks would have decently higher average career earnings.
UDFR end up on two ways or exhibit 10 spots that get cut and sent to the teams g league. It’s pretty rare they sign to main roster spots. Vs 2nd rounders which are almost universally main spots or two ways.

Luka / Booker

Going through tweets and NBA/NFL players are overwhelming in their support of Bronny and Bron playing together. Most of them sound like they wish they could do it too
I don't think anyone is down on it from a personal point of view, I'm sure it would be awesome for them.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostFuck this shit.I can honestly say Lebron aint about that championship goal anymore.
I am done.
Joke arse franchise.
he's more concerned about hoarding cash for the next expansion team and getting friends and family paid.
By Sharp Go To PostI mean he is right that there is a ton of nepotism in the league already, I've complained about it before myself. idk why it's such a lightning rod issue when Lebron does it. it really isnt worth talking about.
By domino Go To Postpeople dont really hate nepotism they just hate that they arent in the position to do or benefit from itSome of us genuinely do hate nepotism. It's a scourge in all walks of life.
Bron and his son playing together is far and away from the worst shit about the league, good for them.
i don't give a shit about nepotism. i just think he's not doing the best for his kid. forcing him into the league too early on his team is weird. he could've made it on his own with more years of college.
but idk, maybe Bronny really wants this too.

They gonna try and take bronnys head off and I'm here for it
When he fucks up some defensive coverage you know he's going to get a talking to
By pilonv1 Go To PostWhen he fucks up some defensive coverage you know he's going to get a talking toI'd be shocked if Bronny even plays enough for this to happen. Unless they brought in JJ with the understanding that he's going to be feeding him minutes regardless.
