By diehard Go To Postmaybe the Wolves could come up with an actual play and not just a Edwards ISOFinch hasn't ever bothered to draw up plays in crunch time. I used to chalk it up to him being inexperienced, but I think this is just what he believes in.
By Sharp Go To PostKAT has not had a good game…Out of control all night except for that stretch in the third before his fourth foul.
Thank God for Ant.
By diehard Go To PostI'm happy i dont have to root against the Wolves this season. I think they are going to be good.Yeah so far the predictive models that said the Wolves would probably be good and the Bucks probably wouldn't be worldbeaters are looking pretty vindicated.
Also, the Celtics losing (and struggling vs. the Nets) when Derrick White isn't in the lineup is good for my agenda.
By Koko Go To PostReally nice 3rd quarter.I hate third quarters.
The Wolves really don't have any rotation players that are negatives and they have strong defenders all through the lineup. Towns hasn't even been bad defending this year.
Connelly getting Conley and NAW for Russell was a real steal. Conley gives them a real adult that basically never makes the wrong play.

By pilonv1 Go To PostAs good as his defense is, his offensive rebounding agility is off the charts.Lesser offensive bag Grant Hill
Everyone wants to compare him to Andre, but his activity on offensive reminds me more of Shawn Marion.
By diehard Go To PostKoko i told you that Strawther was goodI feel like almost every rookie is good. At least by normal rookie standards.
Edit: I should say, almost every rookie getting actual playing time.
By reilo Go To PostIngram is a winning player when he takes open 3s and avoids early shot clock middies.
@kibner, thoughts?
He hasn't been doing that consistently this year. CJ has. Zion has had his troubles but is definitely playmaking. Ingram is the one that isn't pulling his weight by adhering to the team philosophy.
By masud Go To PostOnly because Randle is leaving him so many opportunities.
This seems good. Is it good?
By diehard Go To Postwhy are there no games tomorrowElection Day. It’s why players were wearing shirts with VOTE on them.
By masud Go To PostMitch is better this season defending and rebounds.

KAT probably getting traded by the all star break or in the offseason
Dude was the Celtics mvp
It’s ANT’s team now

another close loss, another good performance, another free throw disparity. sigh.
Still, super fun. Simmons and Thomas were great. Looking competitive out there. Really enjoying watching the Nets so far this year. Makes a change from having to struggle watch Kyrie or Harden isoball.
Also, sick of watching Giannis get away with umpteen travels and free throw time violations a game lol. Every time I watch the Bucks, he gets 10 points he shouldn’t be getting if the refs didn’t swallow their whistle.
(please ignore the terrible account name and tweet)

Ben Simmons getting paid 17.5 million per point. At this rate he won't even reach Renaldo Balkman level.
By Sharp Go To PostWait Embiid dropped 48 on 70% shooting and no one said anything? People here are such haters.
Gotta do it in the playoffs, thems the rules.
By Sharp Go To PostWait Embiid dropped 48 on 70% shooting and no one said anything? People here are such haters. There were 15 games on last night and why subject ourselves to watching a Philly game instead of our own team’s?
By friskySHOOKface Go To PostKAT probably getting traded by the all star break or in the offseasonIt's been Ant's team since his second year. I'm still skeptical of the whole idea of trading Towns, though. He's playing badly right now, but he'll snap out of this shooting funk and be a helpful player again.

I think the bigger issue is that Finch already lost some confidence in Shake and some of the other bench guys. A lot of lineups down the stretch last night with no real point guard. They're probably a guy short still.
By Sharp Go To PostWait Embiid dropped 48 on 70% shooting and no one said anything? People here are such haters. It was against the Wizards. That's like a 24 point game relatively speaking.
Fuck this team.
Maybe the worst final two minutes of basketball I have ever seen from two teams.
Fuck AD. Why he seating on the bench.
Should have sent his arse to the locker room if he couldn’t play.

LeBron passing to Cam and not a semi open wood. 😫
Ingram is just not making good decisions to start this season. It's VERY frustrating! He seeks out early shot clock middies to the exclusion of drives, lobs, kickouts, and open 3s for himself and it's killing the team's offense.
He's better than this. he's been better than this. Lower 3pt attempt rate, free throw attempt rate, and rim attempt rate than he's had in years.
What's more maddening is that CJ changed his shot profile away from preferring midrange this season! He's doing what Ingram should also be doing. And, of course, he's now injured. At least Zion is playmaking for others.

The defense Ant played in the fourth and in OT is especially impressive considering he had five fouls.
I really don't know what his ceiling is anymore. Like top 10 player in the league? He's only 22, he carries the team on offense and takes up the challenge of guarding the opponent's best players. They've never had a wing player like this and the only guy he comes close to in team history is Garnett.

I don't know how realistic it is for him to maintain that for a whole season but that's obviously why people are hyped about him.

all these problems have an answer and its not guys pretending to be point guards but having to basically play perfectly for everything to work at a generally okay level.
ingram in particular - the fact he doesn't even know how to react to a PG on the floor now was painfully obvious during the international play too. all those bad habits are just going to keep spreading down the roster.

Guy can 100% make All-NBA. Think - when he is in his prime, Curry, Durant and LeBron will be gone, Jokic and Embiid will be riding horses/in a wheelchair…
Prepare for Luka/Tatum/Edwards future
By DY_nasty Go To Posti don't even know what to say other than how the hell has that FO got away with not treating the PG conversation seriouslyWhat's crazy is that the team actually looks pretty good and functional as long as Ingram is off the court. Like, the playstyle is drastically different. You got guys flying around off-ball, relocating, cuts, etc. And that's usually with the team running through point-Zion or having Dyson, Hawkins, or Matt Ryan playing an effective 2-man game with Jonas.

It's just... as soon as Ingram gets on the court, movement kinda stops. It's shocking the difference in playstyle between him on and off the court.
