Just soul crushing, I'd forfeit game six and the series after this

We saw all that tonight. It makes no sense.

He is just a joy to watch
Draymond is insufferable if and if TNT is going to continue to add clowns to their shows then good riddance to em

The thing that makes this even worse is him intentionally chewing clock not just on this side but the other end. Then he casually runs a very slow set to make sure hunts Gobert into an ISO on the perimeter. Casual step back with the clock as close to 0 as possible to go up 16.
Don't know what you're supposed to do there except tip your cap.
By reilo Go To PostIt's fucking mindnight and the second half hasn't started yet
No wonder DY is already in bed
Yeah I've had to bail early on these games, too. Work comes earlier everyday it seems.
What happened to off-season threads? Too much draft related shit, especially for a potential WOAT draft

By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostI almost feel bad for Nembhard bc whoever was on commentary last night straight up said āhe cannot guard Brunsonā
Brunson and Jokic putting on for the stocky square built gentlemen.
Maybe I miss it but I donāt hear commentary often say a player straight up cannot guard their assignment.
But then he hit the luckiest shot of his life in game 3 so fuck him. Hopefully Rick still has the memory of a goldfish and keeps having him guard Brunson so he can break MJs playoff record in game 6

Nobody can really guard him, some people do a little better than others but Nembhard is straight up helpless. He made Neismith touch the ground yesterday and had that man on skates all game.
Kind of crazy how athleticism obsessed NBA scouts are and right now the two most unstoppable players in the playoffs are built like veteran mechanics
Brunson isn't unguardable in a setting that actually lets you defend. In the NBA though? Yea, good luck.

Nah man, he had 61 with only 6 freethrows so he can kill people without the grift. Even last night he had 44 on 7 freethrows. I seen him post up Kelly Oubre, he's like half a foot taller, I have never seen a PG go into the post off a jump stop or pivot as much as him and work people. Just a really unique scorer and I'm thinking playing off two feet as a leftie got people confused.

He's taking freedom of movement to its absolute maximum which I think is something that's shitty about the NBA right now. He's getting barely any physical resistance when he pulls up for short shots at the basket. It just makes me roll my eyes watching it.
I'm not saying he's not skilled, but I'm just not a fan of where the league is right now.
I'm sorry
But did you not watch any basketball the last 3 months? The rule changes have absolutely stifled freedom of movement for guards and introduced a ton of physicality after 1/31.
Brunsons is just good and the Pacers are awful defensively. He's taking advantage.

I gotta disagree, when I watch him play he's always attacking the space between him and the defender and seeks out body contact so he can use his post moves. He got the same attack then pivot away fade from the foul line that Luka uses, you have to get contact for that to work. I been studying his game so I can use a lot of it for my nephew.
I like his game a lot more than Shais who does exactly what you're talking about. Brunson will grift but his game isn't centered around getting to the line, he can cook even if he doesn't get to the line in a game.
yea if you made those arguments about SGA I'd buy them. Don't get me wrong, Brunson grifts and he gets caught sometimes in bad situations doing it instead of following his process, but he's not on that level. Not yet, anyway.
Scout on Zaccharie Risacher going No. 1:lol fucking incredible
Iāve seen him No. 1 on some draft boards. That's a risk there. You better have some good job security if you're going to make that call. That could hit or it could be a miss. I like Risacher, but is he that much better than Rayan Rupert? Iāve seen the Michael Porter, Jr. comps and I get it, there are similarities, but MPJ landed in the perfect spot.
By reilo Go To Postlol fucking incredibleRisacher does have some pretty significant bust potential but he has definitely been better than Rupert lol.
For what it's worth (not much, two of those bottom five guys are over 6'6" without shoes and have some of the best shooting projections in the draft... "big high volume shooter" is like the safest archetype in the NBA right now). Also Ware apparently broke the all time combine score record which is kind of cool.
