By Sharp Go To PostI mean it's possible he has processing issues but at this point I think it's fair to say Edey is fairly agile for a traditional center, he keeps getting top scores on everything agility / speed related. Props to him for working hard on this stuff throughout his time in college.I'd also argue as Jokic has shown... stamina is more important for NBA productivity for big centers. How do you fare after the 28 minute mark in a game?
Will you be gassed like Nurkic, Embiid, and Davis and start doing stupid shit, or will you have a consistent top-end motor like Jokic that just continues to do his thing because the stamina is off the charts for someone that size?
By reilo Go To PostHe can cover a lot of ground quickly with some ramp-up speed but can't react in time to cover shorter distances to be impactful on short close outs? That and also if he has to do a quick turn to rotate to a different offensive player or have to navigate screens and such.

Want my honest answer? Let them play NBA for 2-3 seasons before we figure out who they are. Draft and scouting is a crapshoot, stop the hyperbole.
Everyone is washed and S H O O K
Edey needs to let it fly from 3
Iβm tired of bigs saying they can shoot from 3 and not shooting

By reilo Go To PostUsually with this sort of thing it turns out it's always been super common and we're just paying more attention now, but if I were a conspiracy theorist I'd wonder if it were a side effect of some new PED everyone is using.

How many calf strains is this for All-Star players in the playoffs? 5? 6?

I feel like people with tweets like that never played basketball on a team of any kind. Almost everybody on my HS team was listed taller than we were, and all of our heights were with shoes on. They had me in the newspaper listed 2" taller than I am. Bronny is 6'3 with shoes on, they added an inch.

There are artifacts of that everywhere, for instance if you plot distributions of listed heights, there's a gigantic peak at exactly seven feet and then it falls off a cliff (due to players overlisting to become an official seven footer).

Easy to post this now with Ben finally turning into an expiring, but that Garland contract is borderline horrific.

That Celtics fan looking right into the camera signaling for a timeout just for Tatum to come down and take a terrible 3 was hilarious
