By rodeoclown Go To PostI wonder what Denver tries to do for Friday. KCP isn't offering any resistance for Ant, but if they stick Gordon on him, that creates other matchup issues.Only way kcp plays well is if Denver puts on laker jerseys.
Can't believe the Wolves are even in this spot, honestly.
By pilonv1 Go To PostNot sure how NBA heads will cope with KAT and Goober having a ringIf they can deal with Draymond chipping, I am sure they would find a way to deal with them
The curse of Bill Simmons, he was saying the Nuggets were up there with Shaq/Bean Lakers and 17 Warriors.

NBA would want a USA born star for the future when LeBron, KD and Steph retire
Antman is gonna be him
Tatum era never started :(
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostBron gonna be mad at him.
By friskySHOOKface Go To PostNBA would want a USA born star for the future when LeBron, KD and Steph retireFunnily enough, Ant and Tatum's DARKO trajectories by age are like almost identical so far. Tatum had an insanely good start to his career so this is not a knock on Ant BTW.

By Kabro Go To PostHopefully small ball is dead too.I think it's been enough time now that we can all agree that the small ball era was just the Warriors era. Pretty much all the champs before and since won with big lineups, they were just an anomaly caused by Curry and Draymond being matchup nightmares and everyone trying to build a roster that could theoretically handle them. The only thing that really changed is that you can't get away with multiple nonshooting bigs at a time anymore.

By blackace Go To PostI kinda feel the Heat started small ball.. but maybe I am looking at it wrongI can sort of see that, but they also lost twice to big anchored lineups (Mavs and Spurs) and were never nearly as dominant as people thought they would be after The Decision. Like people hated the Heat but nobody felt like they had to completely change the way they played basketball to beat them, they were just a superteam with a lot of talent.
By diehard Go To Postis defense cool againAlways been awesome just the NBA hated it.
i had wolves in 6 but still surprised how good they are.
hope they can get it done if they win this round.

McDaniels is a beast, only player I've seen consistently stop Brunson from getting the shots he wanted this season.
By Rob Go To PostA Rod fucked upThat's actually headed to arbitration, and if they actually pursue it fully, Lore/Rodriguez are probably going to win. Taylor knows that, too, and he's trying to extract more money from them.
NBA not addressing the Murray situation today is actually pretty disturbing.
We just letting dudes go crazy on the sideline with no repercussions? Does he have to trip a guy on a fast break from the scorer's table to get a tech?

Not getting suspended, nba doesn’t want sweeps past the first round
I expect 50K so nothing really
Dummy gonna get away with being salty

Should get suspended but he’s down 0-2 and NBA has set a precedent that losing teams basically have carte blanche
As long as he didn’t place a bet he’ll be fine.

Can't wait for Xitter to rail against Caitlin Cark for this
EDIT: Silly me, I should've just read the first reply
$286 million to play like a 32% usage version of Nick Young in the postseason (everyone else on this list but Chet [22%] is under 20% usage). He has his role to play on the team and I'm not saying he's a net negative or anything, but opponents are relieved when he gets the ball instead of a guy like White or Tatum because his decisionmaking is so much worse (though the Warriors pushed that way too far when they repeatedly gave him open shots just to get the ball in his hands). The Celtics are so good in the other 70% of possessions that it doesn't usually matter, but like I've been saying all year I think they clearly look better when they give DWhite and Porzingis more creation responsibility instead of robotically handing the ball to Jaylen every time Tatum is covered.

Yeah, this has absolutely been a thing to behold. Just walled up an unable to make plays every step of the way
By DY_nasty Go To Postall my pj hate continues to be validatedPJ's exactly the kind of player you expect to see in a list like this though, low usage guy whose job on offense is to take C&S threes and be spoonfed in the paint. If he's taking more than one or two dribbles after he catches the ball something went horribly wrong on the possession. Obviously it's not good for him to have a sub-1 AST:TOV, but they can live with it as long as he's taking efficient shots.
(which... he isn't, damn I didn't realize it was that bad, 52 TS% since he got to Dallas and 52% in the playoffs).
By Christberg Go To PostYeah, this has absolutely been a thing to behold. Just walled up an unable to make plays every step of the wayAnd for all of the complaining Denver has done about the officiating, the Wolves are just not fouling much. While they're really physical and active, it's not like they're out there hacking on every play. On the other hand, the Nuggets have been allowed to show up the refs to zero consequences so far and Ant was even given a tech for looking at an opposing player.
