If I had a nickel for every time I've been told that, by god...
Great game. Love to see defence like that. Jokic had maybe the worst game I’ve ever seen him play and still ended up 32-8-9-3 lol.
Wolves defence is suffocating. Nuggets need far more from Murray than they got tonight.
Gobert was incredible. Basically removed the Jokic-Gordon pipeline singlehandedly.

Nuggs should’ve paid Bruce Brown and Jeff Green
By rodeoclown Go To PostGame totally swung by Conley came back in. What a quarter. The Timberwolves rule.Rodeo being optimistic?
It's Year of the Rodeo.
By friskySHOOKface Go To Post15 points by your entire benchThe max Denver was allowed to pay Bruce Brown (due to CBA rules) was less than what another team was allowed to pay him. It was not possible unless a guy who hasn't made that much money in his career wanted a significant paycut that would also affect all his future earnings. It just wasn't going to happen.

Great job from the NBA/TNT

Isn't a comp to someone who just finished their rookie season is dumb as hell?
I thought the whole point of a comp was "this is what we think this player can be at their best" so it's usually someone with some years under their belt

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostGobert gotta get his flowers at this point. Where the fuck is Rodeo? He deserves this.I mean, I didn't even like the Gobert trade last year because of how bad the lineups tended to look with Towns and Gobert together, though I also thought it wasn't that much to give up if the Wolves were good over that time period. This year, they're good and the total Jazz return has been Walker Kessler and Keyonte George. I'll live.
If they do end up winning the series, Rudy breaking up the Jokic and Gordon two on one all by himself in game one will be in his highlight reels forever.
Yeah, I have to eat crow on the Gobert trade too. I thought they wouldn’t be mobile enough and you could just hunt switches that stuffed Kat in Gobert’s space all day/run them off the floor and it turns out that’s easier said than done. Mostly because it just gets you Naz Reid and it winds up not mattering that much as a result.
Still think Gobert’s a rancid human but it’s not like I’m an MPJ fan either so…

Him stepping on defense is the surprise cause he's held up well against a lot of different matchups.

With how good they look this year if I'm the Spurs I'm maybe thinking of getting another skilled big to go with Victor.
I have always been pulling for the Gobert trade to work because I like seeing a team going all in on a concept that has a solid chance of a big payoff. Especially for teams that haven’t had much success.
Also, height is important in basketball. It’s why I hope the Pels find two or three bigs that pair well with Zion, letting him move up to the 3 on defense. If some of those guys are on the roster already (Trey Murphy???), that’d make things easier.

He's sacrificed on offense to let Edwards be the man and he's played defense at a high level at a position he didn't really play until last year to accommodate Gobert.

I know everybody hates Towns, and boy does he commit about three bizarre fouls or turnovers a game, but I love the guy.
ESPN is so xenophobic they are ready to write off the Nuggets because Ant is an American 🇺🇸 🦅 making a statement against these Europeans who have been the best players these recent years
It has to kill them to be hyping up a team in Minnesota

Most stretch bigs are just kind of passable from three if they're open, not someone you legitimately have to game plan for on the perimeter.

That's the trick though, Victor is the KAT offensively that can do all the other things. Just a passable three point shooter with him thats versatile enough on defense to guard multiple positions. Imagine pairing him up with someone like Jaren Jackson and how'd that would look.
man, that was a legit block by mobley. banchero used his off-arm to push off and still got rewarded with free throws. i hate this guy.
some horrible guard play from both teams

But really though, where does Donovan ask to be traded after this first quarter. Let's discuss after the break.
SHOOKtics would rather face the Cavs but Florida about to own both the Bruins and SHOOKtics in the second round
Imagine throwing a game because you want the easier matchup and losing at home in the only game 7 of the playoffs
