By Sharp Go To PostI find it incredibly funny that Tatum is the only starter on the Celtics who insists on playing every regular season game.
Just say Derrick White is a bitch. Just say it.

Oh wait NM Tatum did actually rest last game, I guess all the starters are doing it now.
Strike that last part from the transcript.

This is a good video breakdown of the Pels general base scheme. How and why it works and how it can fall apart:
The gambling is really gross, especially when you realize how early they start going after kids. My nephew from 11-12 was pretty much addicted to BloxFlip on Roblox, it's just gambling for kids.
Celtics are extreme frontrunners. You take away their open threes and their offense goes to shit. They don't have a counterpunch.
And it all starts with Tatum because he loves taking shitty Kobe jumpers. Fake #1 guy.
If this team ain't blowing teams out, they look ass in tight situations.

The Celtics are also top 2 in team three point defense and have been elite at it for years meaning it's not just luck, so it is rare for opponents to have shooting nights that good.

I'm discussing their process when their first offensive option gets taken away and they look like a supremely middling team. They blew MULTIPLE 20 point leads tonight.
Process is more important than results. And when things aren't within their box theirs sucks.
Gambling culture is out of control now
It’ll only get worse
But the easiest bet to make this post season is for the washed Celtics to not win the finals
😎
Celtics just spam 3’s like dummies and it’s an awful offense
3 or die is always die unless you’re pre finals Heat or the prime Warriors

By reilo Go To PostBro put the numbers down and stop analyzing via the result sometimes lolThey are as non reliant on a single number one option as any team in recent memory, I just kinda disagree with this analysis. Firstly because they out talent teams to the point that they are basically only in close games against real contenders or teams with insane shooting luck, secondly because they've won a bunch of close games this year by letting guys like White and Tingis cook in the fourth. You can't cover everyone on that team.

The only thing Boston has to do in the playoffs is remember KP exists
The clippers are way, way worse when it comes to only being able to win pretty and never ugly

Entirely possible they implode due to Tatum's Kobe impression but they're way better with real guards instead of Smart

Austin Reeves shot 34% in college and had one third of the steal rate and is 6'5" and his elite offensive skill is foul baiting and was 23 years old when he got drafted, but yeah, very similar players!

I don't know who to compare him to, other than that his playstyle probably fits with what the Spurs are trying to do.

what a failure
Scust is their greatest achievement?
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostI don't know who to compare him to, other than that his playstyle probably fits with what the Spurs are trying to do.Part of it is that he's a fairly unique player, but the other part is that the handful of good statistical comps for him in college are guys who you will get clowned for comparing him to. Very short list of small guards who project as both elite shooters and good defenders while playmaking well and having touch at the rim.

Defense and shooting almost always translate, so I think he'll be good there. I don't think he's a true PG, but if you're playing with Vic that doesn't matter too much since he handles the ball a lot. I see all the mocks say Spurs will take Topic and I don't see it, ball dominant and not so great shooting isn't what I'd want if I were buidling around Vic.
