By Sharp Go To PostPeople are saying Walker Kessler is struggling to start the season?Yeah he is struggling so far. Unsure if it's just a 3 game sophmore slump or the linup with John Collins just isn't working.
I dunno if anyone does defense highlight videos, but, man. Herb Jones would have had a pretty good one tonight.
Jimmy was running from the grind as always. Can't be bothered to face the Wolves because it'll hurt his feelers again to lose to Towns.

By Rob Go To PostIsn’t that the case for every Jokic matchupYeah kinda, I was curious to see if Chet's shotblocking prowess extended to bothering Jokic at the rim... the answer appears to be no.

By DY_nasty Go To Postjokic is really on another levelIf he keeps playing like this it would honestly feel like a joke to give anyone else the MVP. But I know he'll probably stop trying down the stretch to get ready for the postseason.

By diehard Go To PostWould be interesting to revisit the Jokic discussion here 9 months ago but Im not that meanHonestly it wasn't even egregious on here. Some of the takes were harsh but not out of pocket.
The media ones were the truly idiotic ones. You know, like the argument being made that Embiid was a winner, more successful in the playoffs, and that Jokic was just an advanced stats guy that was forcefed by his team. Oh and that Jokic was a statpadder.

By reilo Go To PostNah, Bricks just said he needs to see Jokic win a 'chip like Giannis. He didn't pull the other shit.I liked when people tried to say the advanced stats only liked him because of collinearity issues with the other starters, like nobody had ever seen Aaron Gordon or KCP play before. If anything RAPM and stuff are probably underestimating Jokic because it regresses towards the other Nuggets starters being secret superstars a little more than it should.

Faccu was easily the worst player in the NBA getting regular rotation minutes, the fact the Nuggets were even a 50-ish win team was incredible.
Just getting competent wing play in Murray and KCP was enough.
Also their bench has been historically awful.
Facu, Barton, and Monte are all out of the league now. They played 200 games and major minutes for the Nuggets in '22 on a 48-win team that went to the second round.
The upgrade to Jamal, KCP, and Bruce Brown was huge.

Austin Rivers in the other hand.. he'll always have that Portland series.
