I don’t think there is anything wrong with resting a 19 year old who you hope will be playing for 20 years, a player like Kawhi who has an injury record, or a giy about to turn 39.
In (European) football players rest all the time or come off the bench. But I guess it is a sport that is 11 compared to 5.
Personally I was disappointed that I didn’t get to see more Lebron and AD last night because they are such special players. But ultimately I was glad we were able to rest them because the important thing is having them both in the playoffs.

Resting a 19 year old after playing 24 minutes and no travel is already wild. They keep changing the schedule to stop this and it keeps not working, changing it even more isn't going to do anything.
