These are from the same game, I would have posted them sooner but gifmaker kept speeding them up.
The kid passing him the ball is a complete ball hawk on defense, he's a soccer player and small so his lateral quickness is through the roof. The usual starting PG also plays soccer with him and is the same defensively but bigger so I expect clamps when hes back.
By reilo Go To PostThat jumper is smooth as hell, good shit man
Thanks, his form got broken during the pandemic too and we rebuilt it the last 2 yrs. He was shooting from too far out and basically broke his mechanics. So I made him shoot with a size 6 ball till he was 11, and didn't start letting him shoot threes with a regulation ball till he was 12 and strong enough. He been doing form shooting on his own and backboard corner alignment to keep the form straight .
If any of y'all are gonna train your kids or nieces/nephews, start with footwork and dribbling, shooting comes last cause the form changes as they get bigger. Just focus on the fundamentals of shooting, offhand layups are more important to develop at an early age.
By DY_nasty Go To PostHis footwork on the catch is way ahead of the curve. You're doing good stuff man. 🥲
Phil Handy app and pylon catch and shoot curls, I gotta get him some black socks though 😅
Ps. LaMelo is his favorite player

To be fair the Hawks were playing a lot of Bruno Fernando
Ayton looks like a different player offensively when he's flanked by great three point shooters like Simons, Grant, and Sharpe lol

They got hot during the IST, they still a few pieces away from being actually good.
By Koko Go To PostNot really surprising, considering they allowed 126 ppg to opponents teams.Yea but doing this against the 18th, 20th, and 21st rated offenses in the league and being an additional 10-15 points worse is wow
