Thought that Gordon bounce was surely heading in. Good action down the stretch there. Interesting group.

Sorry Linius and Markao, you guys seem like nice posters but I couldn't help but notice this nice little fact. Feyenoord now has more CL wins than Ajax has in the Eredivise.

P12 for the local FC, looks like at least another year down there
By Laboured Go To PostArteta, write this down.
Had a look at the predictions sheet to see how many would accurately predict Everton to go down, if presumably they get the points deduction.
I was surprised to see how many people picked Burnley to do well. Four people predicted Kompany to be manager of the year. Safe to say that they will need a upturn in results soon for that to happen.

That was just one of those games last night, played fairly well overall but it just wasn't dropping for us. It happens. Losing Isak so early really hurt us, the way the game played out it would have been a perfect one for him. Dortmund were impressive. Very strong at the back and lightning quick on the counter. Good team.
By Laboured Go To PostEh, that was our first loss in 8 games...the vast majority of which we had most of the ball?

Wonder if we'll play a strong line-up tonight so we can essentially fuck off the last three group games

By Laboured Go To PostCould have been much worse. Basically a season ending injury but crucially he's able to stay around the team and train.
Going to be a weird season for us, January is going to be really interesting. Whatever plans the club had have been turned upside down.

By Scum Go To PostJust stay away from Phillips. You’re getting Phillips on loan. He's been linked because of how lazy football journalism is, but honestly i don't see it. Players coming in here take a couple of months fitness wise to get up to speed, Gordon was a shell of the player last season because he wasn't anywhere near up to the level he needed to be. Phillips doesn't play football, his level is wayyyyy below where it would need to be and you can see that in his England performances. Not much help to sign a player in Jan that'll only really be able to play the last couple of months

I hope the Chelsea fans can get back in time for bed before Santa comes down the chimney. Dude does not like being disturbed.

By Scum Go To PostWe always have NBA games on Christmas and NFL games on Thanksgiving. It's a nice tradition. Looks like this year there will be 5 NBA games on Christmas (used to be 1-2 typically) and since it's a Sunday, a full slate of games on Christmas Eve and then 3 NFL games on Christmas day. Love it. Good background stuff to have on during family gatherings.
