All this talk of VAR not being able to pull the game back, a couple of seasons ago didn't VAR decide on a pen for Man U after the final whistle had already gone and the players were heading off?
Madueke is definitely an odd one. No real reports on what his injuries have been and he played a decent bit on the preseason tour.
Palmer for real can't close his mouth. Poor guy.

But a good nickname for Chelsea players.
Having to listen to Lee Dixon's thoughts on that miss is worse than the actual shot.

Mudryk might be the biggest dodged bullet I can remember. He's not just nowhere near as good and four times as expensive as Trossard, he's absolute shit.

The US commentary team of Jon Champion & Lee Dixon are discussing how they have a feed for what is being discussed from the VAR official and the match official, Tim Robinson.
They said the VAR side confirmed the goal by saying the word GOAL after confirming the player was onside.
That's apparently new. Confirming and saying the word goal was not the previous policy.

What a difference a word can make, incredible. PGMOL moving fast.
Finally saw that angle from behind to see Ream's clearance off Broja. Oof. Thought it looked a little squirrely in real time but couldn't quite tell. I was wondering why Palmer didn't get an official assist.
Watching the game in 4K on FuboTV, the streaming service that has the PL rights in Canada. Looks very very good.
