By Laboured Go To PostYeah, but with a roof that has speed holes in it.Fucking hell, Horse. I spat my tea everywhere!
At a guess, I think we're in a very similar position to last season tactics wise in that we've been forced to make compromises on what Ten Hag initially envisioned. Only this time he hasn't found as effective a solution.
Last year we didn't have the goalkeeper to progress effectively. So we went longer and hit on the break. This season we do have the right keeper, but the loss of Martinez means we're going far more direct again. Effectively taking Onana's best qualities out of our overall game.
Then we're also looking at Bruno, Rashford and Casemiro and how poor they've been. Gone from being our most important players last season to ineffective.

By Dan Go To PostWhat can you say about United that’s not already been said at this pointThey’re not the ones being investigated by the FA.
A truly rotten club.
Saka also definitely not only has been carrying an injury the entire season but is probably gonna be out for City
Easiest win for Pep

By FortuneFaded Go To PostJust saw the scores. Were United & Arsenal shit or did they just lose to the better team?
By n8 dogg Go To PostUnited were better but deservedly lost because they are fucking moronsTeşekkürler.
And did anybody watch the Arsenal game?
I ask the question not to be a dick, but how much of United’s drop in form this year can be explained by Rashford no longer being on a well-above average finishing streak?
United, extremely often last season did not look great, but were still picking up very solid results, helped extremely by finishing very well to quash comebacks

Idk man we've conceded almost as many goals as Sheff United in all competitions.
Shaw was the glue. I've seen the light.
The cutback to the opposition player with free sight of the goal. Rinse and repeat x10.

By n8 dogg Go To PostLad is extraordinary. Saw a tweet earlier: ‘Zidane if he was consistently good’. whew. Was hiding his MotM award behind his back and then spent the entire interview talking about his teammates. He's 20 years old. 😭

The one saving grace is that tonight we saw glimpses of what we could like in attack. We caught Galatasaray in possession and burned them twice in transition.
Højlund also looked good holding the ball up with his back to goal. Made some nice layoffs to keep attacks going. Looks a very capable young player.
I'm just holding out for any of AWB, Malacia or Shaw to return. We wanted Amrabat all summer to actually start games in midfield. We're still waiting for that to happen and he's already played three times.

By Willkiller Go To PostWhat was the score when that Rashford to Fernandes chance happened?I think it was 1-1
By Pedja Go To PostI think it was 1-1
Oof
Maybe this is what the higher ups think the supporters want to see, all action, end to end, gun to the head three in the chamber, whoever blinks eats it style of football or ETH is on some drugs.
By barber Go To PostIt was pure Marcus but we then took the lead anyway with Hojlund's machismo
Should have been 3-1 and the game to bed.
Hojlund looks good though, raw of course but he's got the physicality and athleticism to be a success in the league. Just shouldn't be in a position at his age where he's seen as the only real striking option, rarely goes well.

Maybe United could sell Bruno to Saudi Arabia and use the money to get top class players for their biggest squad gaps, like Liverpool did selling Coutinho and replacing him with Alisson and VVD.
Dear god, looking up and reading that… just look at it. Sold Coutinho. Replaced him with Alisson fucking Becker and Virgil Van Dijk 😂 Hard to believe our recruitment was ever that competent, even if it isn’t bad now.

By Batong Go To PostWell we just sold Hendo for Szobo so..
It’s early doors still but
Milner, Hendo, Fabinho, Ox, Keita
Out for
Szobo, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Endo
Is definitely looking like a monumental glow up.
By barber Go To Postif we lose, it's best for rasmus to leave with you
we already rejected him once, he just wasnt good enough for the danish league.
still do have the good Rasmus though
Man U was in the conference league?
Catching up on the highlights… we played lethargic football… Man U seemed to play atrocious football.

Getting nervous for tonight. We are forced to win, considering the loss of points in the last round.
