“For Zaza and Berardi I can say that half will cost €15m,” Carnevale explained at a Press conference to introduce new technical director Guido Angelozzi.
“Those are the figures on paper, but it’s different when it comes down to something concrete.
“Juventus will want to take both at the same time for a lower price, that’s normal. Sassuolo will focus on young Italians, we won’t do crazy things, but we’ll try to do well.
“At the moment the priority is Zaza and Berardi, we haven’t decided yet who will come in and who will leave.
“We want a squad of 25 players this season, and the objective of the club is the future, and not just the immediate future.”

It is so fucking annoying at this stage.
I am off to bed.
210 minutes minutes till Berardi gets Kane'd
Saw a good point made on twitter that Liverpool normally spend £30m net each summer, so with Sterling gone for £50m and Firmino signed we should have £50m to play with (striker + Clyne + one more), plus the money we'll get from selling the deadwood (I imagine we'd get around £15m for the likes of Coates, Borini, Balotelli, Lambert). That £15m could cover Milner and Ings anyway. Might not be so outlandish to sign Kovacic too, though I have no idea where he'd fit in plus our squad would be massive.

edit: and we passed FFP last year and our finances have improved since then, thanks to some creative accounting probably.

I'd be surprised if they back Rodgers with that much money, only to finish 6th again. Although, £30m net is not a lot, just wary of the Sterling money being spent similarly to the Suarez money.
Or the Bale money.

If it's the latter fair enough, but even the players people call two footed usually favor a foot.

By Ingeniero Go To PostWhat a way to waste and shit his career lolIts the club he loves. Money doesn't matter to him now, he's won it all iirc, PL, CL, Serie A, Copa Italia. If he wants to give his boyhood club a few of his best years before he declines, fair enough.

Or the Bale money.
1) Lovren £20m based on 6 months of good form in his career
2) Lambert not a good fit for the system, not fit enough to be good when called upon
3) Balotelli was an expensive dice roll. A die with about 17 faces.
4) Markovic, Can and Origi were all potential
Expected better from Moreno and Lallana, but they made perfect sense then and now
The signings we're making now seem safer. Know what you're getting with Milner and Bogdan, Ings seems reliable and well-rounded enough. Clyne would be a very safe signing.
Obviously Firmino and Bacca would come with question marks over PL adjustment, but that goes for any player, and previous PL experience is no guarantee of anything

Re: Bread I - think at this stage of his career, he needs to be playing. You can argue all you want that he'd be on equal footing at the start of the season with the rest of the strikers, but one is an established international who's been a starter at two of the continent's best clubs, one cost €40m and one performed well on the big stage last season. Seems like he'd have a pretty tough time starting every week, and while I understand it's a squad game, he's still young and if Juve really want him then they'll go back in for him eventually.
Did everyone see ADM's comments? I can't decide whether LVG was being a bit unforgiving considering the personal problems off the pitch, and should have just played him into form, or whether benching him was the right thing to do. Hopefully he starts the season in the team.
On FM I line up like this:
DDG; Darmian, Smalling, Hummels, Shaw; Herrera, Schneiderlin; Di Maria, Mata, Depay; Rooney
why cant life always be this easy

I don't know, but if I was De Gea I'd be pretty pissed about the rumours being thrown around and what my value really is.
I know a keeper is the least valuable role there is but if David Luiz is worth 50 mil £ and Bale is worth 100 mil £, I'd want my piece of the pie aswell.
