Hamsik wont leave Napoli, especially for us.
Jovecity do NOT want. An ACL waiting to happen, and he's an ACL away from a coma
Oscar is a Brazilian shitboy, but I'd still take him because we are in no position to pick and choose lol
I'd be surprised if we squeeze 20m outta Ogbonna and Lliom
Llion says he wants to stay at Juve "but he needs to talk to mister" and all that.
If we had a proper trequartista playing behind Llorente then he'd do fantastic. I don't know if he's worth another chance, though, given that we could make SOME money on him now. Zaza isn't a huge improvement on him atm.
Edit: yes, I should've specified that the only point I care about the national team is in tournaments.
Arsenal are in advanced talks with Wellington Silva over a new deal at Emirates Stadium, sources have told ESPN FC.
Wellington has yet to make his debut for Arsenal since joining the club from Fluminese in 2011.
The 22-year-old has been forced to spend loan spells away from the Gunners after not being not granted a work permit.
The winger has had five loans with stints at Levante, Alcoyano, Ponferradina, Murica and Almeria.

Maybe it takes a few episodes for the disappointment to set in, but I thought the first episode of Season 2 of True D was well good.

Having thought about it, I'd much rather have Llorente for another year if he wants to fight Mandzukic for a spot, and loan Zaza to Samp as they're in the market for a ST. He'd get Europa League experience that way.
yeah Parma is officially in Serie D

You guys both need to realise that the under 21s form the building blocks for world champions. You just got to look at England. Any good young player immediately gets thrown into the national team. The last four European World Cup winners all had players spending years playing together at youth levels.
The under 21 tournaments create a place these guys can get to know each other and develop. The 2006 team was full of guys who had been playing together for over a decade. Same with the Germans, the spine of their team had been together from youth competitions back in 2009

It is crazy to think that a Parma best of the 90s squad would only be bettered by the Spanish duo, Milan, Juve, and maybe United.

Oh I realise why its important. I just find it difficult to get excited but u21 games and tournaments. Between Euro and WC, I get enough nazionale related agita to last me a year. We're just getting to the point now that I don't feel depressed watching Juve.

Chelsea’s Bertrand Traoré finally granted work permit
Bertrand Traoré will have an opportunity to prove he merits a place in Chelsea’s first-team set-up when he travels with the senior squad on their pre-season tour of the United States next month after the Burkina Faso teenager was granted a work permit to play in England.
The winger turned centre-forward who first alerted Chelsea’s scouts to his talents as a 14-year-old at the Under-17 World Cup in 2009 while he was still being developed by the French club Auxerre, officially signed professional terms on a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League champions in January 2014.
However, he was unable to feature competitively in the United Kingdom having not played the requisite number of games for his country to qualify for international clearance.
He has spent the past 18 months on loan at Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands, impressing consistently over last season when he scored 17 goals in all competitions to help them finish fifth and win the play-offs for a Europa League place.
His regular involvement with Burkina Faso, including in the African Cup of Nations this year, saw Chelsea reapply for a permit over the course of last season, with Vitesse having confirmed his parent club had always intended to bring him back to England.
“José Mourinho is crazy about him,” he said. “If the opportunity is there, they’d prefer to take him back.”
That application has now been successful. Burkina Faso were ranked 66th in the world as of 4 June, inside the existing Football Association regulations when Chelsea submitted the paperwork for the permit, with Traoré, who made his debut at international level at 15, having also featured in over 75% of their senior competitive matches when available over the previous two years.

Llorente was underperforming and Allegri wanted options. Matri came instead as Sassuolo weren't sure that they could avoid relegation without him and Matri did gloriously in Coppa Italia. Despite him being a donkey most of the time, Matri did his job well. He earned his Coppa and Scudetto medals, imo.
Why do we want Zaza now? Eh... dunno. I suppose same reason--cover for Dybala, Morata, and Mandzukic. He'll definitely be fourth in the pecking order, although probably more likely to replace Mandzukic for sub appearances.
I've been having this debate about whether or not we should just keep Llorente and send Zaza out on loan again. I'm not convinced he's any better.
Berardi isn't coming to us this year. It'll be either Oscar or Jovetic.

True, but the group verratti played with at least had the potential of being a good group and might still see a lot of time together. Destro, Immobile, Borini, Florenzi, Marrone, Bertolacci, Insigne, Gabbiadini, Sansone, Sapponara.
Fuck me that 2013 team was pretty talnted. Shame not all them have delivered.
Bertolacci is very good. If we didn't have a stacked midfield, I would have wanted him to join us. But we don't really need more attacking midfielders.

I can't see Zaza agreeing to go on loan, what an embarrassment that would be for him.
Yeah Zaza is staying, he's a very hard worker and Quaglia like, I'm sure he'll be good enough, and be ahead of Llorente in the pecking order
I can see him co-existing with Morata, Dybala and even Super Mario. Remember, he played quite well with a limited cunt like Immobile with Conte already so he can adapt

If we're playing 4-3-1-2 (and the "1" is this new trequartista) I don't see Zaza, Coman, or Berardi getting much playing time. And one of Morata, Mandzukic, and Dybala will have to settle for a bench role.

reading on twitter there are people calling for berardi in the 10 spot and also for him up front.
I have complete faith that Allegri will play the best players. he isn't just gonna start someone based on their name or wages.

Would be a fun forward line to see, and the funniest thing is that Morata who is assumed to be an automatic starter has scored the least amount of goals last year, and in fact over the the last three years.
