By Lambda Go To Postthe problem with Sterling at Pool is that surely his relation with Brendan is toxicHonestly, he seems like the kind of little knobend who'll have issues no matter where he plays, and who his manager is
only scenario where i see Sterling staying and playing at a high level (well, as high as Sterling can go) is Brendan getting sacked
By hixx33 Go To PostIt was on the Xbox twitch show about 15 mins ago.I doubt it, but not a deal breaker. Always can play it on PC

lol. What do you mean you doubt it?
So Globo has been claiming that we're going in seriously on Firmino? That would be a huge relief to see that we're targeting him. He's such a dangerous player, but isn't he United-bound?

Who knows. A cool art style can carry a game a great distance in the estimations of fans, and Microsoft has a pretty stellar reputation when it comes to picking and choosing the right small projects to back.

Nothing decided.
Make a decent offer and your chances are there.
By Hitch Go To PostHonestly, he seems like the kind of little knobend who'll have issues no matter where he plays, and who his manager isso sell him for 40 million
he'll only decrease in value with time, genuinely don't see him ever being valued at more than that
By Facism Go To Postwas loving the game but the fucking load times killed me. Worse than what Bloodborne had pre-patch.Worse than Bloodborne?! Takes me 5-10 secs between areas, loading from an SSD (2600k, 770 GTX, 8GB RAM), ver 1.06 of the game.
No idea why it's so long, i don't have problems with other games in that regard.
By hixx33 Go To Postlol. What do you mean you doubt it?why would the developers put that statement basically yesterday and now Xbox twitch channel says otherwise? Sounds weird. I still think it's timed exclusive.
By Oddinho Go To PostSo Globo has been claiming that we're going in seriously on Firmino? That would be a huge relief to see that we're targeting him. He's such a dangerous player, but isn't he United-bound?A lot of players are United bound. He might go to the club where he feels gives him a better opportunity to be in the first team.
By Hitch Go To PostHonestly, he seems like the kind of little knobend who'll have issues no matter where he plays, and who his manager isI've told you already, Hitch. Sell him. Take £35m + £5m in addons from City. Place dumb easy clauses into the contract that'd add more money to the club's coffers.
Don't encourage my poor broken heart, the idea of Firmino at Liverpool is boner-inducing. He's the closest thing to Suarez on the market. We can actually go back to playing counter attacking football with him, Ings and Sturridge as our strikers.
I've been sitting here watching a few stage demos over dinner for the last hour and there are some really nice things in the pipeline.
I posted about it last night, but come mid August, Everybody's Going To Rapture is exactly what I'm going to be in the mood for after spending so much time with TW3 and Batman. I've seen two demos now and I'm pretty sold.
Cuphead can have my money for originality alone. What an awesome idea and what a time to live where something like this can actually be created. How can anyone not want to try this?
Mother Russia Bleeds looks like a hyper violent Streets of Rages which I'm totally fine with.
Yeah, I'll have that for $20.
Tearaway PS4 looks fun too. Not sure I'll be there at launch, but maybe on the cheap around the holidays or something.
Finally, I'm honestly embarrassed for The Division devs. These poor Swedes have Ubi'd themselves so hard that their game has become a complete joke in my eyes. All those numbers and bullets to kill people is so not what I'm into. It truly is an RPG with guns and I think that's stupid. However, it's the visuals that I find most offensive.
To go from:
This, this and this...
To this, this and this in two years is absurd.
And the fact that no one in the media conducting these interviews is mentioning this is preposterous. They don't even acknowledge that these charlatans continue to use and mix in the first set of images I posted with what they're currently showing. They have recent videos on their Youtube page answering select questions from their forum and the footage from the reveal is peppered throughout and heavily spoken of as if it's a real thing.
The games media deception that they're willfully partaking in is what these asshole gamegate fucks should be spending their energy on--not attacking women that they're upset with because they ignore them and their filthy facial hair.
Also, if you beat off to cartoons or images of digital anything--like those Asseffect pics--you're fucked in the head and should be embarrassed because you're not normal. You are weird and will never be accepted by anyone ever if they find out that you behave like that when you're alone. Continue making I want to die threads on GAF and being upset that you can't understand the subtleties of basic human interaction in the real world.
And to touch on the feminism topic from earlier before never speaking on it again if I can help it:
What no one seems to understand is that all of the shit--every single ounce of it from both sides--boils down to money. That's it.
People get outraged to justify their reason to exist and turn that existence into a profitable business. Why are women or men or animals or anyfuckingthingever portrayed a certain way to the masses? Because the vast majority of people are simple and it makes financial sense to play to their simpler tastes. That's it.
Sex sells. No fucking shit. Humans are only animals. No fucking shit. Words are only words and only what you make them. No fucking shit, but people seem to have a really hard time understanding that.
At the end of the day, as with most things in business, if you want an honest answer, all you have to do is follow the money.
Let's go Colombia!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, i saw that. Globo are huge here, they're legit.
Firmino would fit right in at Liverpool i think.
So we have today Botafogo's and Arsenal's goalkeepers playing against each other.
What a time to be pelé.

I agree wholeheartedly GQ. Nice post.
Re: Raheem—Sterling is a very important player to us, I don't see any situation in which money, even 40-45m can make up for his absence. He will only get better, and our team is already looking more balanced for next year. The players around him will offer a lot more support and impetus. It would be a really bad time to lose him, thus the exorbitant asking price.

Unless he already signed somewhere else already, but I doubt it.
By Facism Go To Postsometimes i was waiting 30 seconds to a minute to go from world into an Inn. I don't have an SSD, unfortunately :(Argh, that's harsh. I'm at the point where even 5-10 secs bothers me a bit. :P Get a 256GB SSD for games m8, totally worth it.
City will bid again for Sterling no doubt about it. They will bid £50m eventually, it's only a matter of time.
By Lambda Go To Postso sell him for 40 millionI think there is a pretty big chance that he'll be worth more than that in 3 years or so, but it won't be with us so I'd probably sell him

Try and negotiate with Kovacic or Firmino first though. Maybe a sideways move (in Kovacic's case at least), but at least they'd want to be here. And probably wouldn't need a holiday mid-season. And wouldn't time their fucking press briefings to cause as much disruption as possible.
Not like we're struggling for homegrown players either.
By Freewheelin Go To PostWhat a long-ass post, GQ, lolI haven't post all day, so finally getting home to relax and watch football is nice. It's an all in one post I guess that really did morph into something else though. Not sure what happened.
Apparently (one of?) TW3's quest designer has been hired by Guerilla Games for Horizon btw
More intrigued than excited about it. GG are only batting 1 for 5 of the games I know they made. Easy genre to get wrong as well.

Kovacic looks like Coutinho mk 2. Player is happy at Inter but wouldn't mind a change of scenery, club needs to sell to implement their vision and the fans are none too happy about it.
Still not convinced it's happening, mind. But I'd be pretty excited to have him.

Kind of depressing that everyone, including myself, is basically excluding Sturridge from their lineups and squad lists, as though he won't play a single game. Unfortunately its fair, since there is a legit chance that he could play 20 or less games next year.
Brazil, pls.
By Hitch Go To PostIs Coutinho playing now btw?On the bench, I think.
Guessing little is happening in the Brazil match
