Look at Italy's U21 squad. <3 So many household names already! The future looks bright, or rather not shit.
I don't care much about the 4th spot as much as I care about taking it from you guys :p can you imagine losing a spot to Serie A? What an utter bukkake. PAYBACK BABY! Let's see how your SKY will spin this
By Yurt Go To PostGoals scored in the top 5 leagues:that just reminded me, out of the top leagues Bundesliga is the only one with just 18 Teams, joke league indeed.
Serie A - 1024 (2.72)
La Liga - 1009 (2.66)
EPL - 975 (2.57)
Ligue 1 - 947 (2.49)
Bundesliga 814 (2.66)

Bla your posts about not sleeping and stuff like this makes it sound like you're dealing with some real anxiety. I got it too. It sucks balls.
PL teams have been so awful in the Champions League lately. United is going to do well next season though, their team will dominate the smaller teams in CL. Chelsea will get to quarter-finals as they almost always do, and Arsenal will probably make it that far as well. City is the only real wild card next season, and I don't expect them to do any better unless their squad seems some significant change this summer.

some really cool and funny stats below
Luca Toni becomes the oldest ever Serie A Capocannoniere at the age of 38
He netted 17 times in 2015, fewer only than Leo Messi on 28 and Cristiano Ronaldo’s 23 in the top five European Leagues.
For the first time in history, both Inter and Milan have failed to qualify for Europe.
Inter won only seven home fixtures, a new negative club record in a 20-team League
and prepare your anus Junited, because the Biancocelesti (Lazio) are the only side with three or more players who scored in double figures this season.
For the first time all season, Milan managed to come back from a goal down to win after five draws and nine losses. They received 11 penalties, more than any other club. In six of the last eight campaigns the Diavolo had spot-kicks in double figures.
After Paulo Dybala, Domenico Berardi is the only other player to reach double figures for both goals and assists this season.

Looking for some redemption in the Dorne storyline (lol) next. Probably involving Hotah and that axe/polearm.
Or indeed from the Sand Snakes. But not fighting. Because the sight of them fighting is hilarious. Ill-served by choreography, no doubt.

I could tell it to my friends but I havent done it yet.
There are people who just love to talk about all their problems. But I was never one of them. I rather help others than talk about my own stuff. But to be fair so far my problems were always managable and I had the control over it.
But now it's not only about me. And man, it's killing me :/

By OddMorsel Go To PostI need a good book to read. Was thinking Infinite Jest. Any fans?
I liked it. But I ended up skipping a bunch of chapters. And I read the ebook, which made the footnotes into endnotes - which is a considerably less hospitable way to construct a fictional experience.
Shoot for Russell Hoban. The Medusa Frequency. Or David Markson. This is Not a Novel or Reader's Block.
Better, but less gargantuan, experimentalists.

Well it's long and complex and the writing is good. I did come away thinking it didn't need to be nearly as long as it is. Felt like he was just throwing ideas down for the sake of it and to show off his writing.
Worth a read if you have the time to invest.

Uruguay’s players’ union plans to ask Fifa to annul its nine-match international ban on Luis Suárez for biting an opponent at last year’s World Cup in light of investigations into corruption at world football’s governing body.
The union, in consultation with the Barcelona striker Suárez, has decided to present a petition to the world players’ union FifPro to be raised to Fifa’s executive committee, its legal adviser Ernesto Liotti said on Thursday.
“With these facts [of alleged corruption], Fifa’s decisions in the last few years have come under a mantle of suspicion,” Liotti told Reuters, referring to the arrests of top Fifa officials in Zurich this week.
“We have no proof that this [sanction] was made within the framework of illegal actions but nothing guarantees us that it wasn’t.“

In Dota for example, I usually solo queue. Not because I don't have friends (well, just a few), but because it's easier emotionally.
Hang in there anxiety addled footyslaent.
Still with yesterday's match on my mind. What a comeback for the ages. Red card on the first 15 for Cedric, Braga scoring twice on the first 25, it felt like hell. Nothing seemed to work for the team and the few times we did something right, Braga's keeper was there to stop it. The clock was running down...50,55,60,65,70,75,80 minutes gone and no goal... People were leaving already but most of us still believed in the team, we just needed that one goal..
And on the 84th minute, it came. Braga's defense made a mess out of a cross and Slimani got the ball just outside the box, placed it neatly inside the goal.
6 minutes to go, the impossible was starting to look quite possible.
Bad crosses, missed passes were making the stands go mad but both the team and the supporters (at least some of us) never gave up.
On the 93th minute, pure bliss and euphoria. Montero makes it 2-2, everyone goes crazy. Ewerton goes down in pain, and gets transported out of the field. We had to be careful, for a few moments we would be down to 9 but thankfully nothing happened. The team was exhausted but there were still 30 minutes to be played. Stressful minutes, both teams with good chances but no goals. The time had come, it was all going to be decided on penalties. I was got a bit nervous when watching PK on the TV but being on stands on a final is far worse. I kept looking to the floor and to the sky, afraid to see what was going on the goal on the far side of the field. Braga scores, Adrien then scores an outstanding penalty to make it. Patricio saves the second penalty, fans go crazy. We score, the craziness steps up a level. Braga misses, there's no going back, the cup is going to be ours. We score, it's almost done...Agra goes to the spot, shoots...and misses!!! People start hugging absolute strangers, tears fall down, everyone starts chanting out of their lungs. It was just amazing being on the middle of that.
The team deserves the cup, they played 110 minutes with a men down under a hot sun. Everyone made an epic effort, by the end they were almost all in pain but pain is just temporary, glory is eternal.
I will never forget this final, what a lovely day.

Wilshere possibly getting sanctions for yesterday? That's pretty dumb. I hate him, but if a Spurs player did the same, I'd love them for it.
Yes Jack Wilshere, I'm sure he would have taken a 10k fine for those chants, will probably do it next year win we the treble.
I am worried about the Morgan to Utd noise I'm hearing, if they get him fine, then I would like Arsenal to get Vidal or Carvahlo. It's early days and alot of rumours swerling around so I'll take everything with a pinch of salt.
@Shanks all the Arsenal fans I've spoken to who were at the game say Mesut was simply the best player on the pitch, he's so naughty, now do you believe?
I got the witcher 3 over the weekend, will drop my thoughts on it in the other thread thus far.
Congrats barca-slaent well deserved on winning the treble, this team although missing the majestic xavi and iniesta in the prime you arguably have the best attack I've ever seen in club football tbh.
And yes most Arsenal fans will feel like barca our are kindred club, due to philosphy, promotion of youth etc.
Congrats to all other winners of leagues and cups.

De Laurentiis going to Spain to convince Emery to be the next Napoli coach. If he shows Emery a good project and throws some money on him then I can see it happening. Or maybe Emery wants to try the CL with Sevilla and to overtake Real in the league first.
