Mount, Amrabat and Mainoo in, with murmurings of Fred, McTom, van de Beek on top of Sabitzer not retained probably means we're one short.

- Mainoo is young and currently injured
- Donny is on his way out

If we’re gonna play 4-3-3, we need at least two players for each position plus a few spare. Amrabat and Mount are far better squad options than Fred and McTom, but what we don’t want is everyone to be fucking exhausted again in February. Would rather McTom can deputise for ten games a season.

Plus, you're obvs not getting better value to replace McTom next summer. I hope we compromise and take the money to bite the awkward bullet of being forced into finding a replacement now.
