accurate
Came across that crow that say it wishes I was dead and how all the other animals talk shit about me behind my back 💀
Next time i disarm a boss, gonna see if i can actually pick up his weapon and throw it off the map lol
By DY_nasty Go To PostI actually cannot wait to go evil 😂Just testing this, still, but if you are playing in multiplayer, you can have one player talk to a vendor while the other steals all their shit while they are engaged with trading. The trading forces the vendor to be locked into looking in a single direction, making it easier to thieve from them.

Incredible.
My character is an Asmodeus Tiefling too, so already fire resistant.
That infernal machine ain't stopping me. Fuck it, here's a coin, let's do this!

By Patriotism Go To PostIncredible.Since this "trick" seems to force the NPC to look in a particular direction, it should work on everyone, not just traders. You just have to make sure the thief stays out of the NPC's line of sight while doing the stealing.

Any of you lot doing Dark Urge? Wondering if it suits doing three playthroughs, one good, one evil and one dark urge, or if dark urge ends up being an evil run anyway.
By NiceGuy Go To PostAny of you lot doing Dark Urge? Wondering if it suits doing three playthroughs, one good, one evil and one dark urge, or if dark urge ends up being an evil run anyway.I will when they release the full mac version
Still on early access🥺
By DY_nasty Go To Postevery comment I've seen regarding dark urge usually amounts to simply not doing that run firstYeah I'm defo not doing it first time around, just sounds good to have an option where it takes the moral choice out of my hands since I always end up going full Good even if I don't intend to at the start
13 days til it's out of beta 😎
I started Dark Urge, but restarted without it so I didn't get too far.
There's bound to be some crossover with a straight evil playthrough, but it's pretty unique in the sense that you are given agency to not give in to the dark urge and resist, so it's not only about just doing the evil thing. You are definitely still gonna have to pick, so it really doesn't take every moral choice away from you. In a way, a straight evil run can be more straightforward.
They recommend it for experienced players because there will be times that you're not given the option and your character will end up doing some stuff by themselves, so it's bound to lock you out of questlines, characters and have other unforseen or unwanted consequences. In a choice based game, some people won't like that some decisions are taken from them and semi-brick progression.
I restarted because I figured I wanted to see most of the content as broadly as possible, then I can come back and see how much it fucks it up, but the game is open to be replayed several times. Even on a regular playthrough shit branches up in wild directions so it might also be cool going in blind with a fucked up character background from the get go. And it can also be hard as fuck, and believe me, some encounters are fucking hard.

On my Evil play now but I'm trying to kill the Devil to get his firesword in the Nautilus but the Cambions always arrive to early.
Anyone had any luck with it or am I just going to F8 this a bunch of times until I get lucky?

Commander Zalk?? First try🫡
That tiny brain thing I saved did some work for me lol. I might’ve gotten lucky then
I didn't bother with the Cambions, I looted the sword and then ran away to the console/cutscene trigger. I thought I fucked up at first lmao because midfight I realized I was helping a mind flayer 😭
By Lupercal Go To PostOn my Evil play now but I'm trying to kill the Devil to get his firesword in the Nautilus but the Cambions always arrive to early. You don't need to kill it. Just change your or SH's spell list around so that you have the Command spell available. Cast the drop/disarm version, pick it up with another character before it takes its next turn, be on your way lol

I got so close like 2 times yesterday just fighting him I thought it was doable that way.
I was able to kill him on tactician but it took a bunch of relaods to make that command: drop weapon work, plus throwing a haste potion on the illithid and also moving the nautilus barrel by him and blowing it up.
They must have buffed him because all I did was surround him and hit random actions to test them out
I dunno why people hate Lae'zel lol maybe I'll hate her later but for now she's an interesting character

I just healed him and use protection with Shadowheart while simultaneously using her to clear ahead. Us is very good at killing the imps which leaves Lae and your character free to surround him and do the rest.
I looted him when the cambions were already on top of me and immediately used Shadowheart to hit the transponder avoiding that fight.

Lae'zel is a fucking monster in combat when you get levels. She had 4 attacks a turn when I was using her through the Creche storyline.
Problem is there's not a lot of space for a melee member in the party and Karlach exists.

Bae'zel is great. Even Shadowheart is.
The writing across the board is so strong; the idea of going back to characters like Merrill or Isabella (Dragon Age) actually making me sick rn

If you don't bother getting her out of the cage I think she just goes somewhere else by hersefl? (never really done it myself)
but knowing wooden, it was probably this:

At least Merrill had the whole "my exiled blood mage can't possibly be this cute" thing going on

I did. But I think I remember now. I wanted to kill that big boi on the ship, to get whatever he had... and she died in the process.
am i missing something with Wyll? I supposedly unlocked pact of the tome/book of ancient secrets but i see nowhere i can access the supposed spells they give me.

I've been doing pretty damn well with both Lae'zel and Karlach in the party + Gale + myself (druid), although I'm constantly mixing it up, since I don't want to deprive myself of Astarion's company. The only one who hasn't clicked so far is Wyll, though admittedly I haven't given him a proper go yet.
I am rolling Pally Karlach, Astarion and Shadowheart. I sub Karlach or Astarion for Gale when needed
I run 2 Clerics ( Trickery and my War Cleric who's more like a hybrid tank), Karlach and Astarion.
I got Astarion the legendary scimitar and that thing has turned him into a monster
