By Laboured Go To PostExpected Benfica to ask for more up front. It's a great price for Ramos but they'll need to find another striker a week and half from the start of the season.
They're supposedly interested in Gimenez from Feyenoord but they would have to pay around 40M€ for him.
This starting 11 that Poch is using against Dortmund tonight in Chicago could honestly be the 11 to play against LFC in ten days.

By WoodenLung Go To PostMeanwhile, a team from the Faroe Islands beating a Swedish team, to secure at least conference league. The great kingdom of Denmark keeps winning.More sad for the Swedish champions was that the guy in goal was a apparently Swedish too who retired a few weeks back as a CB but was recruited to the Faroe Islands team as a GK after a holiday on Rhodes (before the fires I hope). Stopped three of five pens 🤣🤣
By Laboured Go To PostNkunku injured already is it?RIP my prediction on the spreadsheet then, lol

By bud Go To Postmadrid conceded another three goals? i know it's pre-season and all, but… jeez.Horse please
City defo have a weaker squad right now than last year. Gundo >>> Kova, and Mahrez is a very tidy squad player. They gotta hope a yoof steps up. Or they’ll probably get Chiesa for 8m mid-August and he’ll be great, or some shit.
By Batong Go To PostAnd yeah, no one is touching City this season either.
They are weaker tbh
KDB another year older. Gundogan gone, Mahrez gone. Silva still likely to leave, Walker a maybe to leave (probably unlikely now)
And I do think it's going to be hard to get them mentally to push themselves to the same standard after winning the treble.
Copium?

The supercomputer has emboldened the flame of ambition in you, brother
This is great from Ramsdale. Opens up about internet trolls, his gay brother, having a miscarriage, love for the Arsenal

By n8 dogg Go To PostI reckon a step back for Newcastle this year. 7th or 8th.
Wouldn't surprise me at all. Competition within the top 8 is going to be fierce. We simply haven't added the raw numbers to the squad. The squad is stronger, but barely.
We have a shocking lack of defensive cover, we were really lucky with injuries at the back last season. There is, of course, lots of time left in the window to help that. But I don't think at this point we're signing the 3 defenders we need.
European travel until at least December, too. I guess being a lower seed means you tend to avoid the Belarussian sides or whatever, but it still takes its toll.
Interested in how Arsenal manage things too. They got very lucky with injuries for the most part last year.

It's a factor for sure, but fuck...Champions League games are back at St James' in just a couple of months. Obscene.
I can see City dropping off and only managing in the mid 80s points-wise, but I think none of the others will manage over 80 so it's a moot point

This is why Totti was so great. Made Spurs spunk over 30 million for Lamela.
I don't like the feel of our squad but I think alot of clubs bar utd, Chelsea and Liverpool can say that.
Think Liverpool are the ones to watch
