I think West Ham are going to come back for McTominay once they complete the sale of Paqueta to City. The era of McFred is truly at an end. Think we will move on Amrabat soon and when McTominay leaves we will go for Onana or Lavia if he is still available.
£8.6m plus £4.3m in add-ons for Fred is hardly ideal but he's on reasonably high wages and he's in the last year of his deal.
Mendy took that Saudi money a bit too soon it seems. Could have had a few options available in Europe.
Wonder if Madrid consider bringing back Navas. He's not the worst stopgap, knows the club and is just sitting there at PSG.

Fulham not getting involved limited our options.

By Scum Go To PostSix months for an ACL seems very ambitious too. Would be impressive if he played at all this season.
Six months. Damn.
By barber Go To PostLol is Joyce really saying that or is it another made up story.
Really hope Liverpool miss out on Caicedo, not remotely worth that and is basically just a Todd-price. Maybe if the team were really thinking of a title challenge but I doubt they are aiming for that this season
By Batong Go To PostLol is Joyce really saying that or is it another made up story.Seems made up which is why I posted it 🐴
So it seems Heaton is injured which means Hendo would stay

While the funds would appear in place for what would be a club record deal for Caicedo, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are actually presented with the chance to land him.Doesn't really mean much.
McTominay is the worst United regular I've ever seen. He was big and had a half decent shot. No other redeeming qualities. Never wanted the ball and refused to do anything with if when it came his way.
Wish he's featured in at least one pre season game - give us a chance to attend one more service from Pastor Fred.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostWorse than Buttner and Cleverley?Buttner was a rotation option and Cleverly has two seasons as a semi-regular. Was never as prominent as McTom.
Weghorst was a starter for half a season afaik, and was dreadful in all but about two games.
We absolutely fucked it giving Man Utd such a headstart that they could get away with it

By Laboured Go To PostReally excited to play with a striker this season. Heard really positive things about it.Are we sure this Rasmus lad is one of those?
By inky Go To PostAre we sure this Rasmus lad is one of those? You won't know till about October
By barber Go To PostUnited bros, I have a sneaky suspicion that Garnachie, not Razzy_Haitch, gets #17 if Fred leaves

It'll be cool seeing some behind the scenes stuff with it being my club, but the Amazon docs are vapid sanitised affairs. Ours won't be any different, there's a good chance it'll be even more sanitised than usual...for obvious reasons
By n8 dogg Go To PostMove to Germany and learn that language, uproot your four kids and your wife, all for a few default Bundes?
Or wait a year and go to United or Liverpool or Chelsea or City, still stand a chance of winning PLs, playing in CLs and you don’t need to change your entire life to do so?
you're making it sound like he and his family would have to live there for the rest of his life. they'd be back in england after a few years.
and it wouldn't be just a few bundesliga titles, he'd have a legitimate chance of winning the champions league in every season.
also, going from london to liverpool or manchester would be a huge change. not sure anyone with a working brain would want to make that move.
By Dr3upMushroom Go To PostFeel like Kane to Bayern would be bad for us in the CL.maybe he could score the pen after we're 4-0 up
By Plasma Go To PostExactly what I have been saying.
Were they ever in the race if they're too poor to afford him?
This collusion by Brighton and LFC - likely discussed during the Mac Allister deal - to extort upstanding businessman and humanitarian Todd Boehly out more monies is a disgrace.
