This saga started a year ago when Harden opted out of a $47.4 million contract with the 76ers, giving them the cap space to sign P.J. Tucker and Danuel House (and trade for DeAnthony Melton). Then Harden re-signed in Philly for “what was left” of the 76ers’ space under the hard cap, $33 million. However, Harden apparently thought — as did many around the league — that it was a “wink wink” deal with Morey and he would get a big payday this summer.Et tu, Morey?

Never doubt the Rizz god Ime
I love Teague lmao every story he tells makes it sound like his whole NBA career was luck mixed with some ben stiller comedy script

I cracked the code with my nephews, I get max effort whenever I put them in drills or situations where they have to guard one another. We did offense/defense drill today at the end where the defender starts on the ball handlers hip, while the offensive player has a live dribble and can fake go to get them to jump. You would think it was game 7 of the finals the way they went at it, and they didn't want to stop, they got so fired up they wanted to play 21 after, this is after 2 hours. The little one learns how to deal with a bigger defender/offensive player, and the older one learns how to deal with a quicker more skilled offensive player.
My older nephew isn't as interested in basketball but he did track last year, and his endurance is wild, he was boxing me out and then defending the ball, going for rebounds...I outweigh him by 70-80lbs and he was strong enough that I had to exert myself to keep him off the boards. He got that dog in him, if he applied himself he could be like a HS level lockdown defender.

Good looks yall, it's really taxing though, cause before I'd work with them sporadically, but I'm seeing them everyday after they get out of camp and we work out for 2 hours. I'm usually the help defender in a lot of the game situations I put them in, so we'll do drill work, then we apply it and I'll set up pylons in like a 2-3 and tell them to do floaters with me in the middle and I'll even try to take charges against them if they don't go straight up on the jump. Or I'll have them do cone snatches after a between the leg and then drive into me hip to hip so they learn to create contact first and drive through someone or spin/euro off them.
My fitbit readiness basically been on 1 for 2 weeks, but the progress they've made in such a short time is crazy.

I didn't have any uncles or older cousins so I had to learn how to play team sports and shit by myself, their father does bike riding & golf with them, I take care of the team sports stuff & body weight training.

Cavs are still a dark horse/wild card team and that’s good
Can lose in the first round again or make the finals

Embiid is very obviously playing through injuries in the playoffs, he should learn from Kawhi and just stay out the moment he feels a muscle tweak and he wouldn't be slandered anymore.
Sounds like Embiid needs to be paired up with a clutch player like Brunson
Sims, McBride, and Evan. Take it Morey

By domino Go To PostKawhi got 2 rings and 2 FMVPs thats why he doesnt get slandered. We seen his work.I am a huge Kawhi fan lol, I just think it's obvious that part of his reputation as a playoff riser is because he doesn't play when he's not feeling 100%. If Embiid sat out most of the regular season I bet he could put together some great playoff runs (assuming the Sixers could get there without him). Maybe now that he has his MVP he'll do that.
By blackace Go To PostA reputation that he earned…He is probably my favorite player in the game right now, this is not an attempt to slander Kawhi. At the same time, it would be dumb not to acknowledge that players make different choices about what they want to prioritize and there is nobody in the NBA who prioritizes the playoffs over the regular season more than Kawhi does. People clowned on him for it all season with the Raptors until it worked.
By reilo Go To Post"Embiid is a playoff performer, unlike Jokic" they saidYou were the first to let us know how Enes had Jokic in the torture chamber let's not rewrite history lol
AD made light work of Jokic once upon a time too

Besides Embiid hasnt played more than 68 games ever.
Kawhi including his 9 game season and the year he missed with his ACL averages 52 games a regular season while Embiid averages 56 not including his first two years he missed with foot problems. So not sure rest is the only problem
By DY_nasty Go To PostYou were the first to let us know how Enes had Jokic in the torture chamber let's not rewrite history lolJokic's evolution as a player from that series onward was otherworldly. He's not been the same player since to all his credit.

He went from white KAT to Balkan Larry Bird.
Embiid is almost 30 now and hasn't done shit in the playoffs.
AD should never really have been in that conversation (well, not since Jokic broke out) and has been overrated since his college days, especially on defense. I feel like people were a lot more realistic about his flaws back when he was with the Pelicans.

Listening to Zach these days is a struggle. Being on TV and around ESPN people has broken his brain.
